Organisation Description
Clare Animal Welfare rescues and rehomes all dog breeds. We are a voluntary group who also rescue other animals in need such as cats, goats, horses, hens, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc and so we have to spread our funding very finely.

Like all rescues we could fill our limited kennel spaces with greys but they would not get the attention or rehabilitation they deserve or require.

When a grey comes in it first spends time with others in our dog runs & we commences it's assessment/socialisation, of course it also gets free running time out of the run with other resident greys, then when there is indoor space available they are moved to an indoor lifestyle for house training (of course naturally they still go out for exercise time!) and have complete control of the couches!!

Each dog is fully assessed with kids and other dogs prior to rehoming, there are no cats at the kennels so they are not 'cat tested' (unless you want to class a shih tzu or bichon frise as a cat!!!).

Please feel free to contact us with any queries.
