Cottage Rescue is a small animal rescue based in Longfield, Cashel, Co Tipperary that prides itself on being a safe haven for any animal that is needing help in finding it's new forever' home. The Rescue takes in dogs, greyhounds, cats, goats, horses, ponies and small animals as well. We work closely with the local Garda, Media and Veterinary Hospitals which makes our job much easier.

The rescue is run completely by our volunteers and these volunteers often put the needs of the animals before their own. Cottage Rescue is a charitable organisation and is able to do good work with help from the kind donations of the public. We have many bills to meet with the running of the Rescue, Veterinary Care, Feeding, Worming, Vaccinations, Microchipping, Neutering/Spaying of all the animals in our care.

Along with the odd Horse/Pony we have lots of Dogs and always have room for Greyhounds and Greyhound crosses, we also deal with Wild Life and are also active in doing Cruelty Checks.

All the Greyhounds and Lurchers share runs with other dogs in the day time and go into nightime kennels at night and have Infra Red Lamps to keep them warm on frosty nights and we also check to see if any of the dogs are cat/small dog friendly.
