the junior minister for agriculture mr t hayes was due to meet with a deputation from the Irish Greyhound Owners and Breeders Fedaretion tomorrow morning at 10 o'c.
all was arranged with people organising train tickets and taking time off work etc.
at approximately 11 o'c this morning a dermot ryan rang the federation secretary to say that the meeting was cancelled.
this is the second occasion the elusive minister cancelled.
the federation originally asked for the indecon report before the meeting.
paul McNally emailed the secretary of the federation approximately 10 days ago to say that the minister would not have the report but as there were other items of importance on the agenda every one understood that the meeting would go ahead as organised.
in this mornings phone call dermot ryan said that the meeting was being called of because "the minister had not got the indecon report"
