Hi Colin, it is interesting as the UK visit Greyhound-Data more than any other country. They are just ahead of Australia followed by Ireland and the USA. We then have 53 other countries that look in also.

It's in our constitution.

Freedom of speech and religion.
Freedom to BBQ in winter.
Freedom to believe our opinion should be rammed down the throats of the whole world.
Freedom to think Jackie Lambie is a hottie.
Honour your Mum and Dad

It's all there.

I'm sorry but my account has been hacked by this Macwollie fellow. He's been warned off the front pages so the cunning rat only posts in the talk section. We are still trying to track him down but I believe he resides in Bungy Land in SE surburban Melbourne. Known names he posts under so beware of Bro PJ Macwollie, Gupta Macwollie, Brockles Macwollie and lately Macwollieisme. Please be cautious of one of his side kicks "Salvatore Dali" he's the one who thinks he's an artist and of coarse there is a big black Greyhound who also is a Macwollie a resident of Bungy Land as well, but approach him with caution as The Krays found out.

Hi Colin, yes we were surprised also but this is what google is telling us.

We will be starting on a project later this year to totally overhaul our adoption section, this I feel will attract many more US members to the website on a daily basis.

The US Members need some extra incentives to chat but you could use the words BIG BIGGER BEST
BBQ FOSTERS MUD PITS Scrimp on the BBQ Thats not a Knife ..ect ect

and some more words to attract the American Greyhound fans .
i am the greatest
and Canada is the Greatest Country on Earth followed by the World loves Donald Trump .
Once you poke an American enough they will post .

And its strange how US get there race dogs to be able to race for three times longer than our Average in Australia and we are supposed to have the Best and safest tracks in the World so this one really baffles me..MAYBE SOMEONE HAS THE ANSWER ...

Maybe they use $30 greyhound vets to check their dogs rather than $5 musclemen.

Aaah, that's my poke for the day. Now sit back and enjoy the carnage.

Funny stuff .....I think on average the Australian race dog would see the Vet more Our dogs seem to not be able to handle our tracks and at certain times of the year the tracks should be made safer and softer...

I will also add that the Muscle man or dog Checkers in Australia are not all about the money it's about the reward of being able to help maintain a sound dog and help your mates week after week regardless if its a Vet or not who checks your dog and if a Man has a proven record of helping to fix and maintain a greyhound and you like him then why would you use a 30 to 40 buck Vet ..

Vets are great at there job but the Muscle man is a master at his craft and when you used to go down to $ dave the amount of people lined up waiting hours to see a man who only charged One Buck a dog for years and he gave away the money each year to charity so when you say it like you have written it James it does not seem right and many many Greyhound Owners and Trainers over the years owe their own dogs longevity and soundness to the 5 buck dog checker and the Buck a dog checker and the bloke who checks dogs for free

it's the Vibe of it James and y0ou must know all about the Vibe of things mate when you used to go out clubbing with the boys ...

Nah mate, was never the clubbing type. Blokes with hair gel fighting over under dressed tarts didn't do it for me.
Pool, darts, mixed grill, a punt on the dogs and a cold schooner or 12. Aaah the memories.
But I agree Kevy, way too much focus on times. Slow them down, punters don't care.

Thats exactly right the average punter lets say 90% of the betting public don't care about times and they would not even know what sec times are or represent but you find a punter always either goes For ...The long shot The fast breaker .the run on dog ...the colour or the name of the dog or trainer has way more impact than a fast track has ...

The Pro's the big boys who punt for a living until their money runs out it is those guys who seem to worry about the fast tracks because to me we could be running 2 sec slower and it would not worry me at all if it meant we could WITNESS in Aust dogs running well into the 100 start range and how exciting would it be to see dogs with 150 starts or more still racing and being competitive
