Steve, just as you can get an idea of how my opinion is formed , no it hasn't effected me at this stage , I never wanted to get into full time , full on breeding rearing. I was happy to pay others to do it , I was making great money as a commercial builder , , but I got sick of the shi. T , promises never full filed The crap phone calls. Your pup is injured. Your pup got snake bite, your pup has been in a fight. Stitches needed etc not only that. When I visited these places that portrayed. Clean tidy up to date facilities where in fact ,, dirty rotten , f,,n holes , that should never ever been able to house a rat never mind a greyhound that had cost me several thousand dollars . Grv are doing a great job. A long overdue cleanup , get rid of the scum. And the dirty rotten holes they call greyhound property's , I'm sure some will get there nose out of joint during this clean up period ,, those doing the right thing will embrace it ,,, I'm one who embraces it , long long overdue ,,,, I hope once this current set of rules are embedded , the stud scene , frozen semen can be simplified with standard contracts so breeders know where they stand , breakers, pretrainers, trainers. Supply simple paperwork / invoices etc for work performed. , I got no idea how things work out side of Vic. And what I say is only a personal opinion ,

Hi Mick, you've jumped a couple of pages. You / I were talking about "Brood-bitches" and the new commonsense rules. That's what I was referring to.

The above I totally agree with.

hi steve , i did say it hadnt effected me yet with any of our bitches , but if it did ill except and work to these new guidelines ,

i dont think we have much choice , only comply , i know and understand some will get hurt, but that always happens when there is reform i think ,,

as we will now only ever breed two litters a year , we have enough bitches to comply ,, we are heading to retirement lollll

im heading up your way later in the year when i finish this new house , ill call in and have a beer with you ,,

Make sure you do Mick. If your caravaning, your more than welcome to make it a stop-off-point. Brownie has been doing just that for a couple of years now ;-)
Just need to bring a carton for the gate to open lol.
(Sorry for being off topic).
