Ok people the game starts here. We need to get behind Scott and give him 100% support. I will ring Scott and see what we as an industry can do to help him. Running as an independent will be costly so guys we may need to dig deep to send a clear message.
Will post more once I have spoken with Scott.

I will do a door knock for a day in Orange to get the word out. If everybody commits to similar i think we can win this bloody thing. I reckon everyone from different areas takes a race dog and a retiree to the area and show how they are all treated the same. And explain how the dirty libs are trying to wipe us from existence. You have my word 100% I will spend 8 hours there to do the hard yards let alone the drive there to do my bit as long as the next day someone else does the same. Let's wipe the liberal party from existence!

Never met the man but Scott Munro is obviously a man with morals.
Tuff enough to put his hand up when things don't seem right & not scared of putting the truth first before his pay cheque.
If there were more polly's like him, Australia would be a fairer place.
Champion effort mate. You'll have my vote if you ever make it to a National level, seeing I'm in Qld.
Remember this blokes name.....SCOTT MUNRO.
Tru-Blue-Aussie......with no bull$h1t.

Spoke with Scott this morning and he will get his banking details to me so I can post them. I thanked him for his support but now we need to support him. The Orange seat has been a National held seat for over 65 years so it's a huge task ahead.

Hi everyone , as a passionate greyhound particient i have watched this disgracfull debarcle unfold, not really sure how i could help. Having got so much from the dogs over the last 45 years through the exploits of some of my dogs such as Elles commando, Elles supremo and hundreds of others, i felt i needed to give some time to back to the dogs, l belive if we can give the nationals a bloody nose at the ballot box in Orange it will surely make every politition sit up and take notice Aussie wide. I thought of a plan to run 8 half page adds in the Local rag the central western daily leading up to the election on the theme of , why would you vote national , the ads would feature at least 5 of this countrys most succesful greyhound businesses, pointing out the cost to the families involved and spin off to the local orange area , i have contacted some of them for there permission but not all, the ones i was thinking of are all very impressive multi million dollar setups that the majority of orange voters dont know exist, people like the Boards with their spring dogs the Hallinans with the zipping dogs the Pringles the Cudel breakins setup etc plus the rural supplies business who lamenting the loss of100.000 dollars in lost kibble sales plus many others . The paper is prepared to give us a hefty discount plus run editorials to supplement the adds with articles highlighting the terrible roads in this area, probable the worst in nsw , the appalling mud carpark for the hospital and the list goes on, the main point being that because this is a national party stronghold they have just neglected us . I approached the greyhound alliance last week to gander some support, financial that is as,the cost of the 8 half page adds will cost around 12,000 dollars but allas no one got back to me, i am still interested in persuing this idea and prepaired to do the foot work if people think it is a good idea , Will wait your feedback. Ps sorry about the spelling etc

peter that is fine, but the final vote in parliament next week, u need a solution now, but with all the abuse towards mr baird and mr grant, i cant see them changing there minds.i read of a new party being form, what the good of that 4 years time before the next election, all tracks gone all greyhounds gone, u need a solution now, forget al the hot air that come out, forget gotba, they have not found a solution. just remember next week it voted on. may be i could suggest a solution, but i would think it would only get deleted, or abused

Hi Peter, I hope the Alliance get behind you on this as it is the way to go. I am just about to walk out the door and will not have full internet access again until Monday night your time.
If no word comes from the Alliance, Greyhound-Data will support you 100% and set up your own thread and a bank account to give our members and facebook groups a chance to donate to the Scott Munro Orange By-Election.

Need to set up a Peaceful Protest Rally in Orange. Let everybody in the regional know so they can join in.
You need to make a noise. A big noise.

I would suggest finding out where every Polling Booth is on November 12 and make sure people are there with their signs to let voters know what the National Party have (or should I say HAVEN'T) done for them......even hand out pamphlets detailing the deals done between the Nationals/Liberals/Greens.

That's right every polling booth should be manned with a simple pamphlet illustrating the deceiet and alliance of the libs nats and greens.
