The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party has named their candidate.
.

Together they just might be able to roll the Nationals.

Does it matter?

Regardless of who you vote for (Labor, Scott, SFF or whoever)....as long as the Nationals are put LAST on every ballot they will lose the electorate.

Yes it matters bigtime. If Scott doesn't put his preferences out & put Nationals last then they will gets a significantly more of his preferences. If he gets 20% of primary vote then how they are split will be crucial to result of seat. Not everyone follows voting cards but most do!

Unless Scott puts the Nationals last,he will in FACT be aiding the National Party.

As anIndependent, I've been told by someone more knowledgeable than me, that he doesn't have to preference anyone.
Doing the maths , if he gets preferences from Labor & SFF he will need 18-20% of the vote to win the election.

Glenn, he doesn't have to provide preferences. Its fine to do the maths if he finishes ahead of Labor & SFF then he probably will win the seat. However if he finishes 3rd or 4th then his preferences will decide the seat and he may then be responsible for Nationals limping over the line.

Robert

The history of the seat & politics says the only logical candidate that can beat Nationals is an independent.

In state politics Labor generally aligns with the Greens. SFF hate the Greens. Labor aren't real keen on SFF either.
I think it's fairly clear cut that if both these parties give their preferences to the Independent he'll win...IF he gets 18-20% of the vote (which he may not get).

Either way, I'm not here to tell people how to vote, I'm only showing people who can win & from my viewpoint it's either Nationals or Scott Munro.

I like Labor, I love SFF but strategically I think it's smarter to vote for Scott Munro if you want to have a chance to beat Nationals.

Scott Munro owns property in the electorate, is a local businessman, is a local councillor (25% of the vote in Orange). The Nationals candidate is a staffer from Sydney, whose been brought to town as a cardboard cut out for Nationals

I believe you're correct, Robert.

And to be clear - equally - so could Scott failing to nominate and allocate preferences... hence why he SHOULD be doing so!

Well ask yourself this.
Is there a candidate that can receive SFF & Labor preferences??

Only the independent bc I'm pretty sure SFF won't preference Labor & vice versa.
An independent is as good as a win for Labor.
Not knocking the SFF party, I hope they see that Munro looks like getting double their vote & I think as an Independent he could form an alliance with SFF in parliament...who knows.

Have the Nats released their preference deals yet?

I would be surprised if SFF and Scott weren't at the top....

Glen you are right .

We cannot be driven into a false hood by people who themselfs sit side by side with ...SFF party and if we compare apples for apples then GLEN you are spot on the money and as a Independent Scott is the only man .

I am happy some have seen the light but many still have not got on there listening ears and these people need to understand the facts before they go shooting people down for trying to provide FACTUAL INFORMATION ...

I will leave you with this copy paste job to ponder over ....
QUOTE ..

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. Chinese Proverb
What this quote means to me

The message I get out of this is that its never to late to accomplish the things you want to accomplish.

In every day life we all have things we want to do. Maybe our personal goals or something we have always wanted to do, some place to see, or something to accomplish. We could have tried to accomplish it sooner, which may have been a better time, but we can still accomplish those things today now. This quote inspires me to get out there and do all the things I want to do.

The investor in me views the trees as investments. The best time to start investing was 20 years ago. The second best time to start investing is now. Theres another quote regarding investing that also fits with this: Its not timing the market, its time in the market. Time in the market basically means the longer you have investments, the longer your investments have been growing and making you money.

Inspiration

Overall, I think this is a great inspirational quote. We all have trees we want to plant. We shouldnt give up hope, since we can still plant our tree today.
