And maybe its time to ask yourself Why do I get so many disagrees?

My apologies but I can't help myself and I promise it's the very last post on this once great site...seems the original decision to bail out is now justified.
So, allow me one last little morsel of decadence.

So, in a democratic society and even in the world of internet madness everyone has the RIGHT to agree or disagree with an opinion.
GD some time ago decided, due to popular demand, to come up to speed with the rest of the world and introduce a "Like/Dislike" button.
Due to a minuscule minority of whinging sooks, (that coincided with the appearance of a delusional ego maniac who is strangely conspicuous by his absence on this thread) the executive decision was made (at their insistence) to soften the incredible mental destruction it was causing to the minority by introducing a more sedate 'Agree/Disagree' button.

Oh, the agony of it all...

While the rest of the world goes about weathering the blows of normal internet conundrums, real life trials and tribulations, and normal life's ups and downs, the three stooges of GD change the course of internet history by whinging so much that the PTB of the famous GD buckle and say..."Alright, alright, I can't take any more of your whinging, dummy spitting crap and here, for Christ sake, you get what you MINORITY sooky la las want and bugger the rest.
So it comes to pass that the evil "Like/Dislike" button is replaced by the more "appropriate" "Agree/Disagree" button.

Well, enter phase two...
The jolly good GD members continue to voice their (diminishing) democratic right to an opinion and continue to "Like/Dislike" opinions and debates with the watered down "Agree/Disagree" button.
Before I go on, may I just add that there are still millions upon millions of people all around the world dying of starvation, famine, and dysentery...
But, bugger me, the "Like/Dislike" - "Agree/Disagree" button is more important...yep.

Anyway, the MINORITY still accumulate record numbers of "Disagrees" and the dummy spitting escalates once again.
Once again, the GD PTB buckle again because of minority sooking and BAN the "BUTTON"!
All on the premise that it was misused once in bad taste...
Just my opinion, but that is no better than the lunatics that are calling for a Greyhound racing BAN because of minority wrong doers.
If the same principle was applied to the rest of the world everything you can think of would be banned because there is nothing without fault.

So...this brings me to a conclusion and I'll keep that to myself.
Although this is a trivial matter, it is the way in which it has been decided which is the worry.
Surely a consensus of sorts could have been put forward to determine the MAJORITY'S wishes?
Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to matter much.
The "Disagrees" on this post resonate the sound of democratic opinion, don't they?
