i never thought one poster could have such an effect on the forum ,
but he has virtually killed it ,, but i guess persistent hijacking of nearly every thread does that ,, people get sick of it and don't bother posting , which has been the case in 2019

Nice cast, Michael.
Maybe it's just because he really really wants to LEARN here. He said so himself.
Maybe being overbearing and obnoxious is just a part of trying to "fit in".
Maybe highlighting every single supposed flaw with the industry is a genuine attempt to make it perfect.
Maybe his continuous degradation of participants is his way of trying to help them improve themselves.
Maybe his gorging narcissism is a way of showing us all the right path in life.
Maybe his 15,789 mentions of livebaiting is just to remind everyone in case they've forgotten.
Maybe his condescending manner towards people is just a unique way of making them feel good.
Maybe his libell(i)ous defamation claims to some were just his sense of humour.
Maybe his compulsive intervention and rhythmic repetitiveness has a medical term.

the forum is dead because nobody takes part if you ask about something they view but no reply
Frank .. The problem is that this is a public forum and a lot of people are lurkers not Exhibitionist...
.I have no problems getting people to comment maybe i have a talent for pissing people off.
Many feel by speaking out that they will become targets in one way or another and you cannot blame them they have all witnessed what has happened to all Whistleblowers and nonconformists over the years ....

MG Quote.. Maybe his compulsive intervention and rhythmic repetitiveness has a medical term. The Medical term is a schadenfreude or epicaricacy

Frank, the reason some people wont reply ,is we are told we are advertising I only reply to people who email me.Carole is much the same. Also some moderators thought they were gods ,and many people were banned. There is no fun like the good old days

You tube has also been hijacked, they want you to subscribe now to play the video clips so there's another death. BTW the PTB's scan social media sites, this may also have an effect on participants discussing where the Industry is heading.

I miss the breeding threads. The Paul Wheeler breeding thread was a classic, maybe one on the Hallinans breeding would be great.Would love to talk about well bred dogs and hear peoples point of view on why they think matings work. For example Batman and the repeat mating.

For me Data died a decade ago, in those days it was great and pretty well an even mix between Irish, Aussie and U.K. members, it really was a joy to read and to partake in the Craic. Gabriel, Cunningham, Turner and so many more with so much to give. The life-blood was the constant sniping between pro and anti Igb but there was also so much information freely available, people keen to help and advise. One of my adversaries was called 'Smart' I recall, if you are still watching happy new year to yer mate. Then slowly the U.K. membership declined to be followed by the Irish, so that the forum was 95% Aussie and sadly lost its way. Happy memories.
