The Grey-Aid auction is now officially closed and we would just like to say how amazing it was to see everyone pull toghether. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated items to the auction;

Kevin Wright

Darren Core

Hayden Gilders

Sandro Bechini

Richard Gray

Teri Morris

Rod Hampton

Janis and Norm Rinaldi

Lets give these people the best virtual clap and if you come accross them in business know that they went above and beyond to help the people of Australia and we should support them whenever we can.

And of course thank you to Tony Gallagher for organising, donating memberships and putting up with training me on dealing with a auction

Thank You Pam for all the work you do .
It was a bit disappointing with money raised but every cent counts .

It is also a shame that the GRV keeped on coming up with excuses week after week with promises supporting GD .

It is also a shame that no racing body supports GD.
I hope GD can continue into 2021 and i think many don't understand the financial commitments each month GD has endure .

Without GD we don't have a history ...

Thank you all donors, bidders, Pam and Tony.

All recipients who are hurting will be very grateful.

I'll take it a step further, Kev...
There are a lot of people and organisations who should hang their pathetic heads in shame.
You know who you are and I wouldn't waste my time naming you...I'll just say one word...KARMA.

Some of the people I approached and who knocked me back, don't you dare approach me in the future for help or support because you will be told where to go in no uncertain terms.
If you can't help yourself and do approach me you will be named...don't do it.

Anyway, good on everyone else who helped.

All I can say is it was a great eye opener.

C'est La Vie.

I do feel your anger and a few of your guys stuck your neck out and tried your best ..
Human nature is a funny thing ....
So many take so much from our Industry but very few give back when it counts .
So many make millions from our Industry but they do not give back when needed this is shown to be the typical form of the Greyhound Owner many and selfish pricks.

Dont get me started on the GRV and all i can say is you guys tried your best even after getting messed around day in day out week in week out .

MG ...You had a crack mate i know how hard it is phoning OTB ..
Rich sorry to hear about your old man and well done for doing what you did .

MG
This is why i feel GD should charge people a fee each year to use our site ...I think many believe GD costs nothing to maintain or run ...

Cheers MG

All good, Kev.
It is what it is.
You and many others can hold their heads high.

Just a note...
I once door knocked for the Salvos for their national doorknock appeal.
I was given an area that had both humble and upmarket houses.
Most of the people living in humble abodes had their donation waiting for me to knock.
A fair number of people in upmarket houses turned me away.

Aaah, ya gotta luv it.
