Gunner you have evidence to the fact , i presume. You want me to appologise to Andre, i will gladly when he comes out and issues an appology to me , i am a member of nuts and he accused nuts of all this crap and in doing so cast doubt on all its members the rest i have written is fact, i have been awaiting appologies from people on this site for quite some time and never recieved them as you well know. You cannot allow people to go around accusing people without hard evidence, this is what Andre as done, i mearly point out it could easily have been him. Untill you get hard evidence i think you should publish an appology on here to all us people who are members of nuts, even though i do not see eye to eye with you at times, i like to think you have a little more respect for me then allowing this .
Duncan, there was a thread on nuts I saw, a few weeks ago, hun. I don't know what it was all about,but what I saw of it, it seemed to be attacking Andre and data team. I didn't apply to it because I did not know or what or understand why people were doing it. Did he accuse nuts before or after the thread was started?
Could a mod please answer my following post (ignored twice so far !) as this would help clear who the culprit is...
Gunnar / Andre, why not just publish the IP address and the name of the person you think the IP address relates to !? Then people can make their own minds up instead of not knowing the truth and blaming innocent parties.
Something that is very interesting after reading through the thread is the piece of software that used to block the Web address of nuts out on threads, yet now appears to no longer be functioning and allowing the address to appear ??

We will not name people here before the court case. Please stop asking for names and ip's.
I'm not aware that an "innocent" party was blamed here. If an innocent party was blamed then this was not on purpose and we apologize for this.
There are just a few evidences that Andre was referring to: 1) Mr Brett wrote on Nuts that he/and his friend are in possession of hundreds of stolen Greyhound-data user accounts and password. 2) Mr Brett was removed from Greyhound-Data-Forum for forking/misusing other users accounts. 3) So far the ips used by the hacked users trace back to Ireland. 4) We got blackmailed by a person from the mentioned group.
I would like to point out that Mr Brett wrote this is a fact, but does of course not prove that he is behind this.
Stealing innocent people accounts details goes way above any joke. I've no understanding for this behavior. We will handle this case in the approbate legal manner.
Gunner, What you have written here is a very serious accusation, i hope for your sake you have hard evidence to substantiate your claims and are not just going by the advice of others. I would not like to see Data hurt from stupidity, but you have definately left yourself open for slander charges if you cannot prove this with hard evidence, you could well find yourself introuble with a little thing called defemition of character which purely by presuming to link Mr Brett to the fiasco which is happening at this time. I think for your own sake its time to close this thread as you are so dangerously close to getting yourself introuble, by your last post.

I don't profess to know what's going on with all this stuff, but what I do know is that GD is, at least, the equal of any other greyhound site in the world - and has a deserved reputation for being so.
I'm a member of this site because it has the BEST database in the world, and the forum can be amusing, entertaining, informative and enlightening.
I'm also a member of two OZ based sites, and I think it's a good thing when I see "mods" from those Oz sites post here. As far as I can tell, there's never been a negative posting in any of the three sites about each other's.
My only hope is that the people who run this site don't take the easy option and give in to the pressure apparently being applied by outside forces, and think its not worth the effort to continue.
I'd rather lose a kidney.

Michael, You are a 100% correct , Data should not bow to pressure, but what they should be doing is continue to find the culprit. Duncan, You better go away nicely as your attitude to the guys that run this site is beyond belief, having just joined the nuts site a week prior, Mr brett and others were having a great laugh at the trouble that had been caused by the attacker on greyhound data, having read what was written it was quite clear who was responsible. We are all Greyhound folk and when this person/group took this action it is quiet clear they are not here for greyhound people and think its disgusting they put their agenda ahead of ALL others.

As I said before, I don't know the details of any of this stuff but, for goodness sake, how about both sides just take a breather.
I imagine there's right and wrong on both sides, and that each side feels like a victim - or "hard done by". Like most conflicts, there's probably a misunderstanding of intent on both both sides.
If I was a member of the other site, I would most certainly post the same thing.
Is it too much to ask the combatants to meet somewhere in the middle??
Surely its not too much to those involved in this stuff just to "back off" for a moment or two.
It's a big world - and there's plenty of room for all of us.

im sure gunnar wouldn't mention names unless he has proof, when personal details get stolen its time to draw the line,whoever the culprit/s,fair dinkum!! im sure the ppl who own/run this site dont need any of this pressure/stress,a` weaker person would just give in & can the whole thing,site & all..lets hope that doesn't happen..

Shut the thread down and any threads relating to disputes regarding both parties, its going round in circles, people are starting to puff their chests out and in all honesty people are looking like fools.
Why don'#t both parties let each other go about their work instead of antagonising each other, I have NO doubt Andre has not been perfect in the past much the same as others BUT it does look like others are revelling in the sh-t thats going on.
Anyhow for my little part I will Apologise if I upset anyone, no intentions of becoming friends etc but I shall apologise if I upset anyone.

I have certainly not been perfect and if anyone has a beef with me, take me on. Leave GD alone. Unfortunately, people are blaming the creator(s) of the nuts website without any hard facts - other than he/they said this or that previously.
Everyone has said things in the heat of the moment, and there's obviously goings on that we do not know about (and prob better to stay that way as its all getting very messy) but their should be a line drawn under this now and move on.
The more websites this sport has availble to us, the better !! Surely ??
