| Why can data not insist, as they tried to do some time ago, on every classified advert having a price. Surely it is easy to have an essential criteria for every pup or dog for sale to state the currency and price. I am Irish but unfortunately live in Northern Ireland geographicaly. 90% of the time when I ring a ROI number they quote me a silly £stg price ( as they see my UK number or hear my accent), I always plotitely tell them to forget it. Invariably they will ring me back with a more realistic EURO price but out of principle I will refuse. The only winners are the telephone companies, as if the price they quoted was displayed I would not make the call. This would allow the buyer to barter on the price rather than insult a vendor with an offer. This has to be the same for everyone worldwide. Could greyhounddata not programme the classified so as a seller has to select US$/Aus$/£/Euro/etc and a given numerical amount for every sale otherwise they cannot place an add, no POA, offers, etc. This would save potential buyers from making that frustrating phonecall and in the long term allow more realistic market prices for dogs. If I value a dog at £1000, I will not bother contacting a vendor with a dog at £2000. A simple alteration to the programe criteria will make save alot of time.

| i for meselfe hated for example the reaction of the advertisement with a realistic - in my point of view - price for swinford mylo. nobody needs if he wants to sell a dog and price it, bad textmessages on the phone or a big discussion in this forum. as long as cheap individuals are judging dogs or pupsprices in a public forum, that long I pray for NO prices

| Maybe the ability to add a price range might be better than a point value. 100-500, 500-1000, 1000-2000, 2000-30000 etc

| just delete those without a price. ONO's are good because they indicate a price and a willingness to barter "slightly".

| Why not simply place those adverts without a price at the bottom of the pag. In time advertisers will take the hint and start listing a price.

| I recently emailed an enquiry abot a dog that had offers in the price. I made an offer based on times it had done compared to other dogs that I had bought from the same track.Received an email back stating that I was at least £2000 short with my offer. Even if they had put "offers in the region of" would give an indication as to what the seller was expecting..

| i think its more annoying when photos are not of the advertised dog in question than no price. ie take look at A & D Foxboro and then look at a bitch advertised under the irish section tamna pride....
