Had a well known breaking in establishment tell me they had a 'wrap on that sire' when we were talking about Banjo Boy in the last couple of days. They'd had some impressive breakin efforts from his pups recently and were impressed by his pups for other attributes like chase and temperament. Combine that with some of the winners to runners stats he's throwing up for you Andrew as well as the winners that are starting to come consistently in multiple states and things are looking really good for Thommo for the future.
Given the support you've shown for breeders, particularly in NSW during the uncertainty as well as the ones you've helped out that many people don't hear about I hope he goes from strength to strength for you mate, all the best.

Good news Doug. I really want one to be yours soon mate.
Also well done to Steve Albon. His first starter tonight winning by 8 and looked very strong the last 80m. Plenty of fun ahead I think Steve.

You can see she has sensational early pace and Banjo obviously would throw strength.
EXTERNAL LINK The dams first litter only had one pup survive to break in stage unfortunately. I guess one possible real good one is better than nothing at all :)

Andrew, having taken a keen interest in following Banjo's pups, the one common theme is a HUGE motor that seems to go the distance. With just the relatively small amount of pups yet to hit the tracks, it is nice to be seeing them run home extremely strong. I look forward to the months ahead when more start hitting our tracks and the ones on the track mature.
Well done!
Rich.

Hi Simon,
Just saw your post and had a look into it a bit. Couple of things for you to consider.
The dam line seems to have a history of pretty small litters bar the Pure Octane litter the last three generations back. Thommo is very fertile and generally has big litters so that is important.
Secondly without giving anything away the litter Doug refers to has a very strong influence of Pure Octane on the dam side. I also bought a few pups out of Rustic Reeeta, also a Pure Octane bitch, and am thrilled with them. I know Jamie likes his if I can say that.
Finally he is definitely throwing well to speedy 400m bitches. I think in the next month or two you will see some more come from those sort of bitches get 500m.
Will leave with you and good luck whichever way you go.
Are you in NSW? Is she on before Christmas?
Hope so.
Cheers mate
Andrew

Banjo Boy pups are going quite good as of late & I noticed one of his daughters in Banjo Queen who not only has the right trainer but she is perfectly positioned to take her spot in the Dapto Puppy Classic Final, Best Of Luck in the Semi final Andrew

Yes Richard he did well especially backing up from Sunday. Will need to produce his trial form in next weeks final with plenty of speed in it. I hope he does cause there is a lot more to offer if he can do it. But young dog learning. Thought mint boy ran well for second too. And it was Bon.
And little queen ...... Yes drawn well finally and a good time for it to. Think she is timing her run perfectly. On the up I would say. I didn't get a bid for her at the auction. So I guess she is a buy back. Ha.
Shark and queen are from same litter. I have one other dog from that litter. Banjo bolt. He pt'd at Canberra Sunday so is close to racing.
There is defiantly a nic working in the breeding side of things that I think really works. I will outline this later in the week. I just can't do it yet for a reason.
