Stephen, I thought everyone knew that the dam is equally important in the reaultant pups ability? Nothing groundbreaking there mate.

Craig I agree with what you say but the numbers of offspring produced by the preferred sires shows that a lot of people don't consider the Dam.

For example my breeder sent the Dam of my litter to KB because he produces big sized offspring.

the stats for his top offspring in Ireland/UK show that he has only produced 1 bitch in his top 10, three in his top 20 and five in his top 30.

what are his stats for Aus?

The success cld be attributed to the linebreeding in x to cornerstone brood Elsie Moss this time thru Max Moss. Of course his full brother Mr Moss is 3 gens behind Temlee in 'x'.

So if you have a bitch that carries Temlee in the x path(fairly common) within 11 generations, you may have the right chromosomes attracting, and Elsie being so close in Kinloch Brae's ped(6th gen) may increase the chances of that happening as a primary linebreeding cross in x.

Elsie is rarely closer than 9 gens in Aus stud dogs ped these days in the x path, and even that can be a rarity in a mating.

At the end of the day the moral of the story is that even when you outcross you shld linebreed (preferably intensely thru FBR's or litterm8's in x), just to give yourself some chance of breeding a decent city racer.

Ryan do you believe everything you read in a book that was manipulated and contorted as much as the present day bible is .......Max Moss Mister Moss Elsie Moss .....Xpath to these dogs you have to be dreaming .

Elsie moss at 2% Elsie Moss *

date of birth DEC 1959

This influence would be minimal and to suggest a 56 year old greyhounds blood line is the reason why is totally ridiculous

Its called OUTCROSS VIGOR and this is something you and others have never been able to get your heads around but just wait for the next explosion of OUTCROSS sires to start producing

Going by your theories everything has to be seen to be in the X and Y and the more you look the more you belief in your own idea's and logic.
If the X and Y plays such an important path then why do repeat matings fail a lot of the time.

I understand you run a Business on your theory but do you ever wonder why your choices of sires fail to deliver in the X Y path but when it all comes down to it you just need a good brood line and a lot of luck rearing and educating them and you pick a sire to give you the things your damline lacks .. IMO

Every line in the world has been influenced by Outcrossing at some point and todays current race dogs in every Country show this clearly .

Look at these two dam lines and tell me why today it has slowed down and in a lot of broods from these lines has failed with these examples below if you can ..

Hoppy's Girl

Material Lass

Two very dominant dam lines in there day

One more to look over and ponder is this

CLICK HERE
Why did the sisters to this top brood fail to produce anything like what she had done and everyone with a sister or the same blood tried to follow but they came up short 90% of the time and they carried the same X AND Y theories but failed to get anything like the Brett Lee Pure octane x Elusive rebel litters

I appreciate your ideologie but it is swayed by blood lines that are not true and correct and this has been spoking about many many times and if GA ever allowed the DNA to be realised from some of our blood lines it would send shock waves through your theories.....
