Garrick ... I spoke to Steve Clark about this yesterday ... to get imported FS via/from Oz to NZ requires preparatory bloodwork to be done in the country of origin. Can be done but gets a bit awkward as would need a firm commitment beforehand ... ??
Yes it does Geoff, and i think the permit is different too, most would be a one time permit and then cant then come onto nz, but i think this could be sorted if going into a transitional facility which technically isnt 'in' the country....but there may not be such a place for the vials to go in cryo. Its really annoying that we cant be on the same page as aussie in this, and it has really hindered out access to quality import FS.
Id be happy to work with you Geoff and help where i can, maybe drum up some pre orders for you? as i could be interested in a vial or 2 myself
The fact you all have been able to source the very best bloodlines globally....credit must be given where credit is due. Its a bonanza for breeders. Those with a vision for these sires must stick with their lines, as from my extensive study history says the tree may not bear the ripe fruit for a generation or 3, and the astute will buy into these matings when those who initiated are ready to give up. Top sires available, exciting times ahead.... i still feel nobooth for gary would be a revelation here
I would pick one hole in your ads ,Farley blitz was not a sprinter he was pure middle distance with early pace .infact he never ran in a sprint race in his career !!! good dog mind you !!
Shaun ... probably a case of different terminologies for different countries ... we have 4 categories over here .. short course .. sprinters .. middle distance ... and stayers.
Farley Blitz raced mostly over 480m and 503m, which certainly isn't middle distance by our standards .. and I would consider him a sprinter ... anyway regardless of his category at least we agree he was a pretty handy greyhound ... regards.

agree was a great dog ,but his best runs imo were over 550 which even in your country cant be considered sprinting he also did 29 47 at hove which is flying and you don't do that there unless your strong ! ,but terminology but should not be considered a sprinter .he,s got a few decent dogs from ltd opportunities over here ,but is bred to throw 550+ dogs being by hb and the mother was a strong sister of my handy princess who i put to Hondo black twice with little success other than an irish grand national winner .the line is definitely strong ie 550+ and infact blue bee blitz sister was the best stayer in the country for a good while and has thrown decent dogs also . also his other brother anfi gem won over 14000 in prize money over 6 bends+ and was also good enough to be leger favourite at one time

I've got to know Peter Griffen over last cpl months as he broke a pup for me and while there I've got good look at that Bella litter great looking pups and full of beans in the yards!! I really like Griffos Bella Infrared litter theres a brindle bitch in the litter that I wouldnt mind getting my hands on but fat chance of that happening .. I think Pete's already ear marked her .. really like our KB bitches as well we have two of them, which one did you see the brindle or the black ?

Djays Octanes outstanding young son CHASMOS DIESEL propelled himself into Grade A by comprehensively winning his Grade B at Southland on Saturday night ... CLICK HERE
Starting from box 4, the 19 month old youngster railed inside the early leader Keeper Ratchet to win running away by 7 lengths in best of the night time of 31.92.
The next best times on the program were 32.10 by seasoned Grade AA performer CBJ Waterford who defeated Southland Sprint Derby runner-up Flying Titanium and 32.18 in another Grade AA by RC Abovetherest.

Looking at the sires of the top 10 greyhounds, three are from the Gable Dodge sire line with one by Gable Dodge himself and the other two by KC and All and Kelsos Fusileer and three are from the Brett Lee sire line with two by Super Lee and one by Dragon Fire
Looking at the dam sires, Gable Dodge is well represented again with four coming via his sons daughters. Three are out of Lonesome Cry bitches and one is out of a Dodgem By Design bitch. Also two of the top 10 are out of Kiowa Sweet Trey bitches and two are out of Flying Penske bitches.
