Hi Kev there is thread on here with some American trainers offering there thoughts ...they have a massive wrap on K C and ALL.
Why do u think they are talking him up , I think their main point is the amount of group class dogs KC has produced ?

I'll try to answer this with my opinion and it may not be accurate. When semen is split to a poor standard it can produce poor litters which has been happening for a lot of years unfortunately in some standards. When a stud master say in Aus has identified this he will give two vials to compensate which is a very hounarable thing to do. I hope this is correct.

John you are correct ... After getting all assurances many times that all the semen was packaged correctly some have been found to have not been this way for what ever reasons I have addressed this with all the people who have purchased vials from me directly .
This was way out of my control until the semen landed in Australia .
I personally felt people had to know but being in an early partnership with other people who did not want me to tell people I had to make the hard decision to buy out these partners out give them there share of vials and go it alone.
I have been trying to represent Kiowa Mon manny with a two vial mating and we still honoured our deal of one pup free return .as well as a two for one deal . The biggest problem early on was trying to locate what batches were of lower quality and I have now addressed this issue and know what vials are what and we have now his last vials that are packaged at 100mill post thaw and are of a very good standard .
We have had good size litters with just one vial and we have also had good litters with two vials and the decision to add an extra vial is 100% up to the Vets who do the inplant and i have no problems with the Vets we use to do this .
One thing i won't allow is Vials sold from other people who purchased these through the other party who are also selling Kiowa Mon Manny Vials to be used with two and its up to these other people selling them to make all of there customers aware of this just like I have done over the past months .
I will also like to say as a new player into the Stud market game that I have always done right thing by the people who have supported all of my Stud dogs and i will continue to do so in the future but when you put your trust into people it can sometimes come back to bite you in the ass but as i said all of my Customers have been made aware when each sale takes place what batch there vials are from and allowances are made to allow people to hopefully get a belly full of pups
I have now the very last vials drawn from Kiowa Mon Manny that are from splits of
2 and 3 compared to vials splitt 5 6 7 times and all of these vials are 100% correct
I have had a few people who have tried to defraud me with claims of one pup litters and this has made it hard to still offer a one pup free return deal and if people are truthful with me and can show proof not in all instances then a vial will be reassigned to you with no questions asked but when as i said people try to defraud you then it makes you understand why not to many STUD MASTERS OFFER ONE PUP FREE RETURN POLICY with their Stud Dogs ...

Thankyou Kevin and Jonathon for taking the time to explain this to me ..much appreciated.
I have other questions if you are ok to answer ...im genuinely interested and on a learning curve here .
I think you mentioned 100 ml ...is that a like standard semen amount across the industry ?
What is a normal/ave amount of ejaculate collected from a dog in each emission ? How many vials or straws would come for each one ?
I imagine the stud master would have to be careful with the frequency and allow rebuilding/rest periods in between ?
TY in advance

Davos I won't go into too much details on this thread but here is a example for you ..
Sure As ....When i got him his was at about 7-800 mill round about and he was splitt 3 4 times .... When i got him working every week we were able to get his live semen Count upto and beyond 1.4 to 1.6 BILLION ....on one or two of those bigger ones he was splitt 7 times 6 times ..
Now if you allow for die off when freezing and thawing you would get well over 100 mill LIVE SPERM POST THAW per vial splitt at 6 7 and this is what I do and the vets and Bob did and that was to package well over because the name of the game is to get pups on the ground regardless .
Over the years there has been a shit load of sires who have had their semen splitt so far that I think 40 bitches missed out of 45 in one Country and even semen today drawn from certain dogs at certain times are known to be of inferior quality but its all hushed up and the customers cops the lot without even a free return let alone a one pup free return ..... I know of and i can name many sire's vials out there in the market place that are useless not even good for a 4 vials implant that still today are sold and traded ...
Honesty is always the best policy when dealing with purchasers and as i have said i have been upfront and honest with every person who has rang me or purchased semen from me and the list of people who have purchased semen from me in the last two years runs into the 100 s now so if they have a complaint then we would certainly here about it on the forums or facebook because nothing gets missed by the SERIAL internet pests that buzz around ..

In BLUFFS RUN'S final year there was a debate over the Greyhound of the Year. Was it BOCS HANK JR or BOCS TONY ROMO? Do you pick the Rocket or the Grinder? When the nominations were sorted out, they were made co-Greyhounds of the Year.
Both of these dogs carry Flying Penske SIRE LINES

Two tracks two sons of KIOWA MON MANNY take top honours and remember KIOWA MON MANNY is today the number one stud dog in the USA ....
Kiowa Mon Manny was never given the opportunities the bigger kennels had and he is one of only a VERY FEW STUD DOGS IN THE WORLD TODAY WHO MADE IT FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP AGAINST ADVERSITY

WHAT DRUGS R U ON ....lol
And it's SH Avatar not SS avatar and yes he is a son of Kiowa Mon Manny and just like most of his sons who are at stud they do deliver the goods .
Interesting that Paddy Whacker and SH Avatar both carry dams that are litter sisters ... There's another nice fact for you Laurie old boy
Did you read above about how Kiowa Mon Manny was the number one sire in the USA and this was after some so called experts saying he would never make number one SIRE IN THE USA ..
He also once again was the SIRE of Two ALL AMERICAN TEAM MEMBERS FOR 2015....

Quick Thank you for Kev - We bought one of the early vials and our bitch had just the one pup but there's been no problems with getting a free return which is appreciated. Thanks
