Well well well... What a sizzling run by Zara's entity lastnight. 29.27 around sandown and puts her on top of speedstars and I believe it was or is the fastest time around sandown for the year? All the talk about work burner and this little girl has gone faster the last two weeks. What an exciting prospect Mick I think you got a absolute star here and with a run home of 10.51 she ain't slowing down.
The first litter of mogambo's were all top line 600m dogs and in time I think Zara will relish 600m plus and mite even stay. I must say I remember a lot of ppl questioning ur idea to go a repeat mating to Mogambo. Well I think it's sure worked lol.
Zara looks a reall group prospect.
I notice Kel had Zara's brother debuting at healsville on Sunday, this will be interesting to watch.
Anyway top job to all involved and congrats again to Mick and Maureen what an exciting time ahead.

Well done to Ronald Rowe cracking the maiden with ZOENAH'S LEGACY at Horsham today. 11 starts with 6 different trainers, hope she gets some kennel stability now.

** Michael (Preece) It would be a big job adding all the winners up, with still plenty more to hit the tracks. Have to be a HUGE wrap for the return litter to Mogambo and Mick has a dozen or so sires to choose from with all the first Mogambo X Girl Aloud bitches offspring.

Not a shabby record for a bitch that has a record of "O" starts

Zaras Entity looks a superstar
Kel Greenoughs Zaras Entity
(Mogambo x Girl Aloud Apr 15)
affirmed her position as one of
the most talented greyhounds in
training with a sensational victory
over 515m at Sandown Park
last Thursday.
Stepping from box one, the black
bitch strode straight to the front
of the pack and was never in
danger of being run down, sprinting
clear in the run to the line to
score by a widening nine lengths
in a fast 29.27 the best time of
the night.
Owned and bred by Maureen Barry,
Zaras Entity has now won four
of her six starts and now sits atop
the leader board for next months
Speed Star series at Sandown
Park.
It was a big few days for Girl
Aloud, with Zaras Entitys full
older sister Evies Entity producing
a winner at Healesville on
Friday when Eve Evie (Barcia Bale
x Evies Entity Mar 15) scored
over 350m.
The black bitch, owned by race
caller James Van De Maat and
trained by his partner Chloe Allan,
was able to overcome box six
when triumphing by 1.77 lengths
in 19.66.
A litter sister to smart stayer Billys
Bake, Eve Evie has now won
two of her four starts with $1,650
in prize money earnings.

Hi Michael,

Serious girl you have with Zara's Entity. Amazing racer and hope she can win the Classic for you tomorrow. Given you are the expert on the line, just hoping you can give me some advice as far as a future mating of Gotham Queen. You have previously suggested Black Magic Opal. As soon as we realised how talented she was (approximately 6 months ago), we got a breeding assessment done by Pedigress by Design and he suggested a number of potential options with Collision, Cosmic Rumble, Walk Hard, Unlawful Entry, Worm Burner and My Bro Fabio given as options based on the duplication of Spiral Nikita within the breeding. What are your thoughts on those matings? Given affordability and best matchings in my wife and my mind we are leaning to My Bro Fabio closely followed by Worm Burner and Unlawful Entry. Any advice would be much appreciated.

hi sean, you have been given a few options there ,

my bro fabio has been used with alarm bells , results should be known in six months ,

after being burned a few times i dont even look at unproven sires , quite happy to pay the extra once proven ,
i like unlawful entry, we owned his mother , reared her from 3 months raced her , then sold her to anthony mc vicker as a brood bitch , (of course thats a bias opinion on him )
i hear walk hard pups breakin easy and chase hard ,,

we have used collision with lola's entity (6 months old )

im not sure on duplication of spiral nakita , but if you were keen on it id have a look at milldean panther ,

but for me i still like black magic opel for her , but may be too expensive for a first time litter,

congratulations on your win at longwood , and i see billy's bake also won on the card ,,

just one final thought sean,, send a message to steve martin and ask his thoughts on a sire for her, he is a hive of information in regards to breedings , and unlike some other so called experts , he is hands on , and a good bloke as well , tell him i asked you to contact him , cheers mick

ps , were are hoping ZARA can negotiate the track a little better than she did last week after hitting the rail pretty hard , box 4 in finals is always hard , we are also looking forward to the return of benny's entity after a layoff with an injury,he is unbeaten in his two starts to date

We are looking very closely with My Bro Fabio for our girl Alice's Entity when she hangs up the boots.

His mum being a litter mate to Mogambo makes me very intrigued. We have seen how well the Mogambo line has crossed with Girl aloud and has thrown some beauties.

He seems to be adding a fair bit of strength also from what i've seen race, might help some of the progeny run out a strong 600m.

hi SAM the line throws basically very strong 500 meter dogs but weak 600 m dogs i know a lot have won over 600 but they are not strong ,

with the exception of billy's bake who is the first to get 700 and is quite strong , he has peaked at the wrong time and is now running into super dogs like fanta bale , burn one down etc ,

there is a great selection of stud dogs out there at present , but before using any of them a chat to the breakers is a wise move ,

the amount of non chasers is growing daily , add to that breeding down 60% its not hard to work out the industry is on track for ruin very soon , it could be saved , but PTB just cant get around to saying they have completely F u ** it
