Hi Ted

Joe (Hostile) is going really well mate, he is relaxing and enjoying life looks a treat.
Has been a little quiet on the breeding side gets a few here and there, most of his pups are just about to hit the breakers all reports so far are really encouraging.

His litter mates (she got issues) 10 and (gold earner) 11 both just have had there first litters to Paw Licking.

Cheers Jamie

i just had a look at the grv website, Hostile has only had 11 litters in 18 months. i can't believe the stud master has'nt put a add out before it gets to late to save Hostile's stud career.

i have no problem with Fernando Bale (actually have a couple of pups of his that are looking great) but surely its worth putting a add in the recorder comparing the 2.

Rough example: Hostile/fernando bales easter egg semi times (point out he could have beaten fernando bale in final).

Hostile is closely related to high earner and is by collision (proven stud dogs), fernando is still from relatively unproven lines.

Hostile's 1st pups breaking in with huge reports/chase, fernandos are so far very quiet on the break in scene.

Hostile $880 with no splits (i'd actually halve his price to create interest), fernando $4400 with 2-6 splits.

Hostile could run a strong 500-600, fernando bale you always had the feeling if anything was close enough it was good enough.

Hostile was trained out of a suburban backyard by a small time trainer, Fernando bale was trained by a big time trainer with all the lurks and perks of an acreage.

as i said i have no problem with Fernando Bale (he was just the easiest example) but i was a huge fan of hostile as a race dog yet still kind of forgot him as a stud dog in recent times. (assumed he must of went to china)

I agree with you Matt, Hostile was very good & I'll never forget watching his TR run at Geelong in 29.59secs & his Flying run at Wenty Park in 29.45, he's a very underrated sire & his dam line is one of Australia's best IMO & pretty sure there was an ad for Hostile in the weekly Recorder paper,in regards to Fernando Bale's line which is indeed largely unproven (I've got nothing against Fernando) I hope he's a success at stud but if I were to pick out of the two of them I'd go with Hostile.

Hi Guy's appriciate your kind words, Hostile is still around and very much healthy hasn't hit 5 years of age yet, as for his stud career he has limited litters mainly due to the events in the industry over the last year, we have had plenty of interest in him.
As Matt pointed out so far all reports on his pups a really exiciting so we will wait and see what transpires.

Warren and Casey how did your pups break in also has there been any of his pups to race yet. Jaime, Anne reckons the blue dog is that smart he talks to her he weighs 33 kgs and the little fawn bitch is my favourite dog here as I said before cant fault any of them. Let me know how yours breaks in thanks again Ted.
