Nicky Dal was quick to begin. Spritely and Cool Whipp collided soon after the start checking Cool Whipp. Turbo Chief and Striker Klinsman collided approaching the first turn checking Turbo Chief. Spritely checked off Harry Steiger on the first turn. Harry Steiger and Timmy's Entity collided approaching the home turn. Cool Whipp raced wide in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Timmy's Entity, the winner of the event.
