Craig just a little side note ...I have a sneaky feeling that Andos Mac would have been an out and out Champion on Grass

Terry, I think I am like you, a little surprised at our lack of accolades to what has just happened. A little 31kg 30 month old pup has just came out of the battled scarred greyhound heartlands of New South Wales carried the visitors box to victory in the worlds richest & toughest race to win & persisted in his concentrating in getting his nose to that winning post first with total disregard to the carry on beside him and rewarded his battler owners with the prize of a lifetime. Ando's Mac should be used as the symbol of The Resurrection of NSW racing going forward. I salute his trainer & full marks also to his educator.

Yes little but big enough to handle Nd ignore the crap going on beside him, many a dog would have eased & so would the offender often forfetiting the main prize to the fast finishing 3rd dog this is why dogs like the 2nd should not be racing, how do you as a trainer turn to the trainer your dog has just marred & cost them the major prize, & say sorry about that, better luck next time! Regardless of that dogs ability it's true ability is to mar, I would suspect that many of us who have had a dog mar the first time & regardless of it's ability it's racing days finish immediately to be fair to the other racers & trainers. So lucky to own this dog , has won over $500,000 in the last month of racing . Such a honest chaser who has brilliant early sections . Can't wait to see him with pups on the ground one Day . But at this stage of his life it's exciting to think what the next 12 months could bring. Thanks Luke Anderson

Yes, Tony a few certainly have jumped on the bandwagon , but that's fine he is becoming the people's champion pretty quickly in nsw and it is great to receive so much support. Sportsbet got rattled from his Melb cup win and that's a great way to gain more fans . Been a stack of interest in the dog already at stud from some of the top breeders in the country . Though being so young he will race on. Not to mention how exciting it is winning races and enjoying the celebrations . Thanks Luke Anderson .

That was the biggest feature of his win. He could have been in trouble on the first turn but held his ground and pushed through to chase the leader.
Super win and very hard chasing genuine and tough Group dog.
