Was very impressive. My girl was chasing his tail home in 3rd, but 25 flat at 18months is low flying. Could be anything

fast pup but there was nothing wrong with the lure position imo. the dog eased by its own accord i think.
the connections should be excited by the potential of the dog anyway. good luck to them.

Just to put that into perspective, Hello Rhonda 2019 Tas national sprint representative 13 starts at Devonport best time 25.69, Jamella Jet 1 start for a win in 26.17,Buckle Up Wes 3 starts at Dev for a pb of 25.50 (second start) and Brad Hill Billy 6 starts at Dev for a pb of 25.76. Wynburn Babe to run 25.49 on debut is huge.

Not sure she is a star star but was an impressive winner in the dapto maiden coming from a long way back and just might develop into a nice stayer.

Had first go at wenty last night, never before set foot on the track and won well although very green and lost in run but still managed 29.94.

Simon,

Don't know about the dog's full non-race history but this was its third official event, including one S/T.

The other two were on a one turn track so this may have been its first two turn experience. In which case, it is not unusual to assume the dog thought the race was virtually over. Happens all the time.

The next time out it might even record faster time.

meaning it wasn't chasing properly, lol.

Having her second start Monday night race 4 number 5, 515m with six last start winners included in the field should be worth a watch.
