Didnt think it would be this hard with a Bernardo bitch, I suspect that part of the difficulty is that a lot of the Doctor bitches are only selectively & limited bred.

Was looking to breed a commercial litter initially later may consider breeding even to my old boy Dyna Steal not commercial but everyone that has had one of his raves.

The girl herself had very few bad habits, excellent kennel dog, the odd stubbornest of Bernardos a known habit, she had brilliant box speed, great railer, aggressive natural chase & could run out the 520m, maybe extra strength for 520+.is the only thing, we sent her to Darwin for their 537m cup but was 20m too far. For me a perfect build, leg & reasonable length.

My experience with that type of intensity is that it's likely to throw short course types if they throw to LoF.

Why Lof ? Because LoF with Steal's damline gave up an all time great in Kantarn Bale.

BTW not saying Barcia sireline won't work with your girl as the nick is there, it's just risky for the reasons previously stated.

If you look at a sire and it lines up with Dr Elizabeth at a very high percentage, you've found what you want. It's not like you have to check squillions of nicks because your girl carries so many outcrosses in her ped so there's not too many linebreeding options especially up close. If you can't find a sire then use one of the Barcia sirelines. Preferably the one that gives up the best x path.

It is about recreating LoF through 'different individuals'.

To do that you need to forget about LoF(and all the dogs in LoF's ped), in Dr Elizabeth's ped https:/ CLICK HERE and see if there are other individuals that Dr Elizabeth carries that can make up yet another LoF. According to Tesio that's how vigour is created in a ped using different individuals to create the sire you want. A lot take this to mean you simply duplicate a sire, that's apparently not the case because you aren't creating anything new by just duplicating the same sire.

Thinking along those lines if you look at the Blood Quota table below:
apart from New Tears in LoF's ped there's another dose of New Tears whose ped makes up 50% of LoF's ped within 5 gens;
apart from Chariot Supreme in LoF's ped there's another dose of Chariot Supreme whose ped makes up 25% of LoF's ped within 5 gens;
apart from Satan's Legend in LoF's ped there's another dose of Satan's Legend whose ped makes up 12.5% of LoF's ped within 5 gens and;
apart from Princess Diro in LoF's ped there's another dose of Princess Diro whose ped makes up 12.5% of LoF's ped within 5 gens.

My experience when you create Lof's ped(or any dog for that matter), through different individuals at 100% in this manner, is that it tends to produce short course dogs. The exception appears to be if they are littermates or full blood relations (which Nathan B found).
You need to expose or not duplicate a line for example https:/ CLICK HERE to breed a 500m type. The breeding books I've read say you need to allow a pedigree to 'breathe' and they also refer to the term 'breeding parallel' - IOW like Tesio you need to create something almost the same, yet different to have a chance to get a 500m result.
