In all seriousness,'freakish' trial times means he was seriously fast-one out.Now except for the odd Capalaba 'Time Trial' race we have up here worth a few hundred or so to the fastest dog I dont see many one dog races around.I would aslo question the add for him in the Queensland Journal as it promotes him as having 5 records but they are only trial times (from the boxes,in front off the boxes, first split on a straight track etc, etc) surely if you are promoting a stud dog it would be his deeds on the RACEtrack and not his trials at home as fast as they where.I probably sound harsh and would love to own one as good as him one day but IMO he isnt promoted well at all.Good luck with him at stud, hope he throws many good ones anyway.

Rob,

Nigel tells me your dog went super up his straight awhile ago...he informed you go to the bank and get a loan and back it your pup won by 10 lenghts...did it not !!

Trial times confirm a dog has a motor....and the elec sections confirm early speed and strength.

On a different point after GMF ran some of those super sonic trials up the straight he then went to albion and ran 23.86.....then the following week started at albion from a 9 week spell went 29.98 BOD.Then the following week went to melb and jumped up in class to a melb cup heat...where he was up against cool effort...the pre post fav for the final....and he was a last start winner in the shootout runing 29.55, cf had not been run down while high balling out in front in any of his races.

So for GMF to jump second and run down CF and win by 2,75 lenghts
in BOD 29.65....thats just confirmed he has a serious motor and the trial form in behind that stacks up.

CF then come out and won the melb cup consolation !!

Our GMF x Landau Court are due on 2nd December.
Vet says 5 but with her previous litters being 11 , 10 & 12 I am expecting more.

Terry, Don;t even worry about what an ultrasound shows as far as quantity goes...I have never seen a vet get it right! The last one we had done was Secret Guest and "she has 4" said the vet. Well I am glad he isn't in charge of the economy because he can't count...try 9 !

Was that at 4 weeks Rob? If so I agree they are inaccurate as to number at that stage.. We only use it to confirm pregnancy @ 4 weeks.

However, another at 8 weeks have been very accurate in our experience and helpful if the bitch is having hard time getting them out.

It was done (ultrasound) at 5 weeks Sandro. We don't bother getting them done as a rule but the vet who did the implant wanted one done to confirm if she was in pup or not.

Terry, Good to see you are getting a few for him. He deserves his chance....on one of my previous posts , I mentioned that I knew the dog prior to his racetrack debut. He was always going to be a fast race dog. Lets hope he throws something for you in the breeding barn. How many sons of Brett Lee are there at Stud nowadays ! LOL There seems to be a new one every week.

Couldn't agree more, that was the reason for the thread shown above. Just had a litter of Bond pups break in and they are dead set barking machines! Just makes everything else harder with them.

Has ther EVER been a sire more maligned for their pups temperaments than BOND ? I have never heard anyone give them a wrap!

Mal, I had a look at the damline of your Suna Silence pups, Impressive.

Do you know much about Sannette Girl? If not, I think that I may be able to help you.
