EXTERNAL LINK I have been looking at this and then looked at head honcho and found that he was alot closer bred than what im looking at, didnt seem to do him any harm on the track or in the breeding paddocks.
What do you think?

Thanks nigel iv have a sneaky suspision that it could work if the bitch is gonna throw, i love causeways damline as my old brood has the same damline. I dont see why it wouldnt work and getting some of his first pups well that could be a good thing, i know he has a few young litters but not many.

thanks for the comment

EXTERNAL LINK
If in Australia the above is what i'd do, or his son Bit Chilli
CLICK HERE
The 3 x 3 Head Honcho is a "No No" over here because of a weak gene carried by a lot of HH progeny.

Frozen semen from the above may be available over there.

Cheers.

Unfortunatly i dont have a spare 3 grand to use droopys vieri on both bitches, im sure there are other dogs out there to try the bitch with, both bitches are maiden and i understand that some speople think you should always take a maiden bitch to a top stud dog but to be honest i think its mostly got to do with the bitch and what she will throw, therfor i wouldnt be inclined to go all out with 2 maiden bitches incase they dont throw, if any of them are going to throw something decent then they will throw it to most dogs. Personally i think its more in the bitch than the dog.
As we have all seen and an ols saying a top brood would throw good offspring to a jack russel, not saying that mines are top broods but i think the saying says it all.

thanks anyway ritchie

Leeanne i've been beating myself up for weeks (not literaly lol) knowing what to send our bitch Go Go Lara too for her 1st litter. 1st we decided proven sire but a 1000euro plus adds such a chunk to the overall cost we decided to try one of the new up & coming young sires, & sell the pups a bit cheaper as its a difficult climate to move pups from unproven bitches or sires. We decided on Last Bid & have a bit of a gamble on a 3x3 Top Honcho & 3x3 Raz to Blonde Returns. Have a look at these they are just a few hundred euro/pounds & I agree with you re bitches big influence on what shes throws,
Good Luck With whatever you decide.

"Unfortunatly i dont have a spare 3 grand to use droopys vieri on both bitches" is that 'cos you need the money to buy a new shed leeanne as you now have two brood bitches?

If you can't use a top stud on both maiden bitches why do you own two brood bitches, isn't one more than enough?

Richard to answer your question NO i do not want a new shed and even if i did it certainly wouldnt cost £3000 or half of, and i only have one of my bitches at my place the other bitch is in ireland with arrangements being made for me to whelp one bitch at home and the other bitch will be whelped elsewhere.
Does that answer your shed question, also i have no intentions of sending both bitches to the same dog.
As i said and im sure there are alot of people who will agree i believe if the bitch is going to throw she will throw to almost anything so why take 2 maiden bitches to a dog of veiri's age and price when there are plenty of other dogs out there. Im not looking for free matings im just looking for a dog that i like and that i think looks well with the bitches.
NOTHING to do with SHEDS.
There are a litter of droopys vieri pups on the classifieds going for 350dogs and 250 for bitches so if i end up with 2 bitches mated to him and am not as fortunate to have nine in the litters like that man has then i will be right out of pocket, like my last litter where i lost 5 dogs and left with 3 bitches, how do you expect i cut my losses there?????

I am thinking of going down your route kieran and put pepsi to trendy leigh and manuka to eskimo jack, see how they turn out if the bitches are going to throw then my next step would be pepsi to college causeway looks really good and manuka to scolari.

be in touch cheers
