YOGI BLUE scores a gutsy 30.03 win in a Golden Easter Egg Prelude at Wenty Park tonight. Well done to Trainer Peter O'Reilly.
It's been a big 24 hours for Cookie's offspring!

Absolutely courageous win by FRANCOIS DRYVA at Wenty Tonight, 30.09; overcoming box 6 & some early scrimmaging to get up on the line.
A real up-and-comer in Sydney's City ranks.

Great to see CE with consistent city winners for being an under utilised sire at a bargain price and excellent outcome for connections.
Certainly appears to be great value for the minimal investment of the stud fee which in some cases is @ up to a quarter of the cost of some 'flavour of the month/year sires'.
I don't know CE connections or studmaster, though believe what appears to be that he has made a good success of the upgrading of his bitches from limited matings.

Word around town that a couple PT'ing in Nsw this week go "nicely". Put it this way, I will be checking results with considerable interest!

Congratulations to Owner Greg Remfry & Trainer Dean Swain on tonight's impressive win by SOUND EFFORT (Cool Effort x Elite Drop). Scored at Gosford on a very wet track in 29.89 by an ever-widening 10.5 lengths.

Just checked the full meeting results from last night (15/4/14) and saw that SOUND EFFORT's litter brother, ELITE EFFORT, actually won his 515m PT; going 30.13 on the bog track. Might be a litter worth following if these two boys are anything to go by!

Yes Alexandra & Dan, I agree on all counts.
"Cookie" is certainly throwing winners consistently, and plenty of them considering the numbers he's had. "Cool Boss" won at Warragul last night, so that's another winner for the week just gone too.
I cannot fathom why he's only had 2 (yes, TWO) matings since coming to Qld. Don't know what more "proof" breeders are looking for! lol
And Dan, if I remember correctly that's the same damline as the girls you are looking to use him on isn't it?

Wadful one bitch missed to him 6 months or so back and due soon so will go again. Speaking to Dave, a miss is rare but you don't win them all. Am looking for females from the two matings to Cool Effort and nice to see the damline throw a good male to this sire which could be valuable in the future.
Gus impressed on debut in nz with sharp 21.57 BOD run at Manawatu last monday. CLICK HERE With a time like that he will go open class 5 in no time, it wasnt an easy c3 field either than he demo'd by 7 and a hlaf lengths. This guy gets 500m too, a solid CEffort pup for sure.

Top effort by SHOE LACES LADY to defeat a quality lineup over 635m at Lismore tonight.
COOL EFFORT = Mr Versatility, from sprinters to stayers he produces the lot! :-)

Good to see ELITE EFFORT ( x ELITE DROP) start to live up to some of the early raps, and bolt in for Greg Remfry and Trainer Dean Swain at Richmond over 535m this afternoon.
