He is a beauty isn't he? I can't remember a dog that pings consistently like he does.

Ernie Bung Arrow won the Group 3 event at Angle Park on Thursday night in 29.55. Is carving out some insanely quick first (4.32) and 2nd splits (16.62) and has has 12:11-1-0 so far in career and is a Nov '11 whelping.

Perhaps also a case for Bond being a better brood sire than producer himself.

Ernie Bung Arrow wins heat of Adelaide Cup from box 8 and has drawn 8 in the final. First time in a while SA will have a runner with a genuine chance of winning on home soil!

Corey

Great to see your Marlow pup win first up, you must be over the moon being the first in the litter. Very excited for the connections of Ernie B A. A real rages to riches story fantastic for the sport, expecially in S.A. There is no doubt in my mind that the nick of doubling up Brett Lee on the 3rd line has a huge influence by adding the injection of early speed, Bombastic Shiraz keeps the strength. I am looking for some Brett Lee bitches myself.

I'm looking at who he will match up to with my
Bitches, certainly like what I'm hearing and seeing with Lochinvar Marlow.

You say you are looking for Brett Lee line bitches

Do you prefer to have Brett Lee in the bitches with some outcrossed lines or not really bothered?

In any case, he is going teriffic with his first wave of pups and the get a Group 1 winning pup like Ernie Bung Arrow in this initial wave augurs well for the balance of his stud career

Hey Sandro - what do you think of this CLICK HERE - if I breed another litter it will be either Lochinvar Marlow or Magic Sprite. Skybird will need to win some more races before she retires if I am going to breed from her, but not ruled out - may have found out how to deal with a long-term chronic injury problem.

Interesting that the Premier Fantasy litter produced two distinct types, longer Bombastic Shiraz types with stamina and speedier more chunky Brett Lee types. Skybird is the latter which makes me lean to duplicating the Bombastic Shiraz influence rather than having the Brett Lee influence duplicated closer up as would be the case with Magic Sprite.
