I'm absolutely thrilled to announce the freakish Bekim Bale will be joining Meticulous Lodge early next week after George Dailly and the team have received a veterinary diagnosis to an injury recently incurred.
Paul Wheeler has suggested a temporary 6 month lay off at stud with the possibility of returning to racing if his injury responds to treatment and time.
His introductory stud fee will be $1,650. He will have all the necessary testing, paperwork etc done which usually takes a couple of weeks and all things being equal, will resume stud duties from there.
Best Regards Paul

Paul, a nice addition & what is particularly interesting to me is that BRETT LEE will appear in the 4th remove of his pups, probably for the first time in a stud.
If i had a brood with Brett Lee in her 3rd remove or Light Of Fire in her 4th, i would be giving him very serious consideration.
Pure Australian lines is what he needs IMO.
Good luck with him

I think the Champ (BL) is on the 3rd line, Pat ... but I agree in the main with your suggestion about matching up a 3 x 3 / 3 x 4.
And congrats to Westy for the fine pickup; I'm sure at that sort of fee he should see some nice broods, and a fair number of them.
So, how would something like this go do you reckon, Pat? Mouth-watering prospect I reckon!

????
I know it's become a bit of a love fest BUT can I apply some logic here...whilst this dog has alot of POTENTIAL, gee $1650 for what???
he broken TR which was broken 3 or 4 times in 2 weeks, he won a four dog shoot out (I think it's only a group 3)
he's been in 2 Group 1 finals for no places and has not early pass against the good dogs....
Am I missing something ??? I'm sure Paul Wheeler sets the price but considering the amount of competition out there, the dogs stud fee is poor decision...people thought EGS price at $2000 was aliitle too much
am I the only one looking at this sensibly...
Cheers

Isn't it amazing how quickly Brett Lee has receded back into the pedigree, his own FS is still available.
