I wondered were you where John.

I heard from someone the other day who lives in Victoria who has a few stud dogs and out of the blue said that it looks like Cosmic Chief is going to make it.

I didn't quiz him but he must of heard somthing.

Johnathon it,s an early call just at present because of who these pups are out of but ours yesterday morning were pretty good for the eyes especially Jo,s when she checked her watch 4 watches took them under the 16 including the regular watch so yes it made her pretty happy seeing she had another one run best of morning while she was there and her pups running within 1/10th of that.
These Cosmic Chief pups here have done nothing because of heat and rain and some of them only have a little emptying yard to move about in because they just run crazy in the houseyard on top of that they are still pretty fat inside so there is plenty of improvement left to work on they will be going to 300m shortly around the 1/2 turn so that should sort things out a little more so at present yes Cosmic Chief looks as if he could throw a winner or two ...they are very good pups to handle and they,re hard to fault we had a little hiccup with a few but that was more to do with people standing in the catching when they were nearing the top of their run ...that,s another story for another thread it,s my pet hate when educating young pups

I see Cosmic Chief sired the winner of the $25000 to the winner "Cosmic Chief GRV VBIS Maiden final" at The Meadows tonight - that is starting his stud career off with a bang with a well placed sponsorship! CLICK HERE

What a great start for Cosmic Chief!!

A 25k VBIS Winner from one of his first litters on the ground!
No wonder Paul Wheeler has already used him a few times.
Great to see a well bred, Group Winner from a successful litter go to stud and get winners straight away. Won't be the last we hear about the Chief!

Congrats to Sam Bonaccurso and connections

Well I know a lady who is pretty excited now she saw that winner tonite and it has given her more motivation to achieve some goals with her Chiefs. What a great win and good luck to the connections for the future and what a great start for a Freshman Sire if the pups here are anything to go by than Cosmic Chief looks to have a bright future he is a son of Brett Lee from a very good damline that has knocked up producing winners

30.66 was the time. 2 dogs fell and both uninjured. Phenomenal got injured and has a 10 day stand down. Ordinary time but a wins a win and well done to connections. Hopefully many more wins to come.

I agree there Sandro and we must remember these young Freshman Sires get no favours when they go to stud though one thing I must say is this Cosmic Chief throws a nice pup and they are good to handle
You can,t ask for much more from this pup he jumped in front and stayed there that,s all they need to do

Thank you Peter and all the wonderful people that have congratulated me on and off the track. I hope one day each and everyone of you will get to own a special dog that will win a big race for you. Lady Luck certainly favoured my dog tonight, the better dog Phenomenal was most unlucky. I do hope that he will get better from his injury.

A big thank you also to Cosmic Chief's owner Mr.Brian Parkinson for sponsoring the VBIS maiden series. I truly hope his champion race dog will continue onto being a champion stud dog.
