A few good studs being sold internationally lately
Lets face it breeding is down 50% and you get a good offer from over seas what would any sane person do
I may do the same if the current situation does not improve. No good having a valuable dog sitting here in this country doing nothing.
Our PTB really have no idea what they are dealing with here. Decreased genetic pool etc. When they have increase registration fees in some cases by 100% and the introduction of over powering breeding rules .
We are being lead by the blind into Chaos
It will be very interesting to see whats left in 18 months or so

Michael Does not matter what rules we have in greyhounds for the semen to come back to us It's our federal Gov quarenteen laws that will prevent that

SEMEN, will be able to be imported, once the Chinese have set up an industry, and a stud book is registered, we all know gambling is illegal in china ,,,
most of us posting on this forum will be dead before semen is imported from china lol
its also illegal to gamble in dubai, but that hasnt stopped them from having a super Thoroughbred industry ?
Yeah ,your probably right Michael, the chinese do have a certain way of "feathering their own nest's lways have, always will, but if they are willing to pay what the owners of these sires want, well good luck to them & bad luck for us I guess. Back onto the original post I noticed Holeshot Hero ( Spring Gun x Pink Rockstar won again in SA,& interestingly the litter brother Raglan Gun has returned to NSW....maybe the new trainer might try the dog on the big spacious one turn tracks like Bulli & Maitland?? time will tell.

Another update on one of his progeny,Holeshot Hero, ( Spring Gun x Pink Rockstar ) had her 2nd run over 600 last night at Angle Park, resulting in a win running a very respectable 35.20,i had been wondering for a while when she would be stepped up in distance, looks like she will only benefit from that effort last night,& can probably go quicker. ( has he thrown many middle distance/staying types elsewhere? I know the dam was quite strong even though she wasn't given the oppourtunity over ground).

She smashed them last night Daryl.
Her last couple of runs over 500m she was really finding the line.
