Spread The Load, from the Shima Shine x Saldana litter, made a long-anticipated distance debut over 720m at her 2nd ever start in a race, at Wentworth Park on Wednesday night and didn't disappoint showing a lot of strength and track sense to come from midfield to win in 42.82
She no doubt will improve as time progresses
Congratulations to Joe Lanutti and the Punters HQ boys and to Andy Lord for preparing her and for having the foresight to recognize her strengths at such an early age and the mettle to play to them

Haha - you wont get those odds again Jamie after her BON yesterday over the 531 at Gawler.! She was only picked for a possible third as considered a bit short for her. But as usual she rewrote the script. We just love this little bitch. So versatile in distances and I feel that we havent seen the best of her yet.

What a day it turned out to be!! We had 4 dogs in at Gawler on a freezing wet day meeting. Three out of four wins aint bad (first treble for me) and a second beaten only by a neck. Three of our Hooked on Scotch x Serene Machine showing what theyve got. Our boy Rustic Kruger being BON in his 5th start and little Harpers Buddy improving 10 lengths on her previous run! So happy with their progress. Kruger Lass also BON with her win over the 531.

So proud of Kruger Lass. She is very smart in her races, never gets in trouble. And Rustic Kruger has a very bright future. But I think Harpers Buddy is the success story, given that she was a non-chaser through her break in and pretraining.
Most people would give up. They say dogs reflect the personalities of the owner. (All of mine thought they were so much better than what they actually were....:-)
Yours never give up.

Her half sister has put back to back wins together over the 450m @ Grafton. Flying Zinger (Zinzan Brooke - Shot Thru)
Shot Thru is living the life of luxury up in Toowoomba at Clifford Gardens Motel. She'd be a proud Mumma!
