Shane, there is an interesting article in Wikipedia on hypophosphatemia. Among other things, apparently too much carbohydrates can cause it, and milk helps the condition, as it is high in phosphate. What are her symptoms ?

Shane, injectable iron and B12/folic acid are much better treatments for anaemia. Foliphos also has phosphate in it.
Poor absorbtion from the intestine is the most common reason for hypophosphataemia. Make sure she is wormed and consider a hypoallergenic diet. A blood test for cobalamin (vit B12) and folate could be very useful. If they are low then it indicates intestinal problem.
