Just wondering if anyone has used this before on their dogs and/or pups
and were their any benefits ?
It is supposed to have many benefits including more energy
and better wellbeing.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Mick

One of the millions...... Every week there seems to be a new super food.
My belief is that if God created it, it is super. If Man manufactured it, it is shit.

I imagine not everyone agrees.

not knocking the product but go to website wikipedia punch ih spirulina and read very good reading material

i thought this might condense it all

The U.S. National Library of Medicine said that spirulina was no better than milk or meat as a protein source, and was approximately 30 times more expensive per gram.[10]
Other nutrients

Spirulina is a type of aquatic algae. Its a single celled micro-organism or microalga. It adds protein ,"B" group vitamins, carotenoids beta-carotene,gamma-linolenic acid {g.l.a} & minerals such as calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium & zinc. It has antioxidant, immune stimulating & anti-inflammatory properties + helps protect the liver from damage.I wouldn't use more than 2-300mg per day & it must be taken with food to minimise chances of digestive upsets. You can use it on k9's but it isn't necessary as the k9's should get all these nutrients from their diet. I personally don't use it cos my k9's receive all the benefits this supplies. But I'll leave that decision up to you Mick.
