I have been hearing about how great a pet the Greyhound makes yet the welfare of the animal is of great debate lately so actually who makes this breed of dog into such a domesticated dog that it is virtually fail safe around people. Is it the owner who breeds the dog and most times whelp them down is it the rearer or the trainer who does all the homework of grooming bathing housing training or is it these welfare people from the rehoming programs who to me get a ready made pet in most instances where very little work from them needs to go into the dog. I have never read where actual credit has being given to any of our Industry for producing well trained dogs in most instances maybe this is the way we should go because of this Welfare Commission bringing unfair blame from so few onto so many It's my opinion and I do have great authority on it that during it's time spent with the right participants from this sport. These Antis and rehoming people have a ready made in house companion dog for mostpeople even the dogs they discard ae still good or great pets but because they won't mix with other animals like cats etc they are discarded
