I may be a tad behind the times here. Do they still make these 2 products ??? We used 2 use "hookshot" or "ivomec-with a local in it" so it doesn't burn em when injecting it. If U have a real stubborn hookworm problem I suggest using 1 of these products IF they r still available + give ya K9's a large 35kg "Drontal" tablet as well in the morning at the same time, that should blow em right out ! Ha. Back in the day some "old timers" gave em "naema's" & that stuff would clean em right out big time BUT would knock the K9's around 4 a coupla days & not sure if they r made any more either. If U can get some of those they WILL solve ANY worm problem ! Ha. Best way I've found is DON'T feed ya K9's their tea the night b4 worming, walk em in the morning so they r 100% "empty" then crush up the tablets put em inside 2-3 meatballs & give it 2 em as their b/fast after the injections. Then feed em briskit bones 4 tea that night so everything inside gets cleaned right out. Also suggest if ya got a stubborn worm infestation thoroughly clean & treat your "yards" 2 prevent eggs etc & it happening again + try not 2 let ya K9's "sniff" the grass as much as possible at "popular" K9 places as they can pick up eggs etc fast & thats how quick re-infestations occur. Hope this may have helped in some way Dave. Regards...
