Hi Jan,
Just wondering about the zip lock bag-nearly filled with water,
use with the ultrasound.
Is there anymore detail that you can give/help with?
E.g. confirming if the gel is or is not still necessary.
E.g. good for hock/wrist usage.
It has been a while since I have had an ultrasound in my hands, since the Dawross decided to retire forever.
Not sure if you will see this message but I hope so because this suggestion that I found on the forum, I think is brilliant. Just want to make sure that all is up to date.

Hi Jeanette - this method is used around bony areas that cannot be easily treated under water, i.e. shoulder, elbow etc. Lower extremities, i.e. toes can easily be treated under water. I have never used a gel with the zip lock bag. It's a long time since I've had to use either method - hope this answers your question.

Thanks Jan, yes it does.
I understand that gel is not necessary at all, head on machine should be ok without damaging it .
I am reading that bony area is the key, regardless that the area could be treated underwater, using the bag is another alternative to using the bucket method.
I would rather take this approach, as there is conflicting info. with the bucket method.
I can always double check with my chiro. (as I believe he use to check greyhounds), especially so with the machine that I have now.
Thanks heaps and I was really hoping that you could give me current feedback, so fantastic, fantastico!
