Personally Dean, I'd mix the 3kg Feramo with 20 litres of water and sprinkle it over the veggie garden. Actually it's probably no good for that either.

Like ...JQ ....I wonder who disliked the post because they should be drawn and quartered ....
Feramo is way to over rated JQ imo for racing dogs as you know and if anyone is still using it best you give it a break for a couple of weeks and then see the results and as we know actions speak louder than words ...its a bit like mixing flour salt water and yeast and calling it nourishment.
Black Tar is one product that does work in so many ways IMO .....and Old Jack has a proven record over many years to back his claims .....

Dean ,one thing people who use black tar instead of Fermano know they are two different products.Feramo was was technology from the 70s solely to provide a vitamin and mineral supplement for greyhounds..black tar is a supplement from 2008 that is more than just a vitamin and mineral supplement .Trainers like Jamie ,the kempshall and hundreds more will tell you their dogs are far more healthier ,race better, recover quicker, have stronger immune systems, their coats look great their kidneys and adrenals don't have issues because of the natural herbs with no harmful synthetics than an overload of cheap synthetic vitamins plus much more.As a keen Gardner I would not recommend what Jamie suggests you do.

Lol I see you Aussies dont care to much for Feramo, surely it adds some Vitamins as it says on the lebel, not looking it to make my dog do amazing times but just to try add a little health. Could you please list a few negatives , why its so bad n shit for even the garden ? Would appreciate the advise . Non explanatory advice is no good to anyone.
Jack Ive black tar on the way, heard good things . Tho have heard people say leave it on the road where it belongs lol, tho they couldnt really put a explanation to that quote. Would you say it could be mixed with Feramo ? Alternative days or no Feramo at all? Thanks

Feramo is around from the 70s and black tar from 2008? Surely that would mean Kevin Feramo has been tested a little bit longer. I think its still a big seller here in Ireland. Not saying anyone is right or wrong but just trying to figure out why it sells so well still if its useless as you say? I spend a lot of money on the stuff, would like to think it was doing something lol

Now Dean these are the facts ....Feramo is a waste of money in fact many learnt the hard way here is Aust many years ago ......
IMO i believe feramo inhibits certain Vit and Min from being absorbed into a greyhounds system ...Constant blood checks later the Feramo was thrown away ...True story believe it or not ...lol...

Laurence , without getting into an argument with you it does not have any natural herbs, colostrum ,olive leaf extract just to mention a few .my distributors in Eng, and Ireland have told me trainers think BT is the best product they have ever used.

It is so good Jack i was thinking about swapping the Vegemite for BT Jack ..
All jokes and spruiking aside people just need to try it on a dog with a bad Coat just for starters and see the difference in 6 weeks ....
Fact after fact BT outperforms almost all of the current products on the market today ...Years of research on Greyhounds has given Jack the insite to be able to produce a very simple product with all the NATURAL ingredients .... Dogs today are polluted with toxins in our environment and in our diets .. Stressed dogs seem to pick up better when using BT ... Its like a Fuel injector cleaner for your Car ....

Nothing wrong with Feramo.......it's just that there are arguably better options available now. It certainly won't hurt your dogs to alternate between the Feramo and the Black Tar until you have used up the Feramo. IMO
At the end of the day, dogs will only benefit from supplements if they are deficient in something to begin with.
Any supplement can be detrimental if over-used.....so try to use sparingly and don't be scared to give them a day off from the vitamins/minerals occasionally to let their bodies excrete/purge any excess.

Thanks Mark, makes a lot of sense . Thanks for your reply. My bottle of BT hasnt arrived yet but looking into it I will be using 90ml a week for 3 dogs so bottle will last 5 weeks. 35 or $46 a month more or less so is a good bit more expensive. So would need to be a lot better than Feramo for me a small trainer to order regular. But willing to try it if will benefit the dogs. Thanks

As I said previously BT is a totally different product completely than feramo . Today we had 27 orders up till 5pm and another 7 till 7pm.so people who want to use Feramo stick with it if your happy.
