Just lately my bitch has been eating quite a bit more than her usual nibble of grass.Has anyone come across this excessive grass eating. Diet hasn't changed, could she be missing something in her diet. Any advise appreciated.

Hi Daryl, yes she is wormed every month,so i doubt that would be the cause.I change worming tablets every couple of months to keep on top of them.I have changed her diet to meat pasta and rice for a couple of weeks to see if that works. Thanks for your reply.

Tony, some dogs like to chew on the new, tender growing shoots of grass. We had a Border Collie who liked to munch on the new Spring grass every year when it came through. It never did him any harm, and some of our greys like to have a chew now and again.
