Just wondering what everyone has used to seal their concrete in kennels. I'm seeing A LOT of different options and rather than guess I'd prefer to hear what people are actually using. Is Concrete/paving paint enough? Or should I be looking at 2 part epoxy coatings? Or even polyurethane? What kind of finish is ok for dogs pads so as its not too slippery or too harsh on them. I've seen some gloss finishes that seem quite grippy but wonder how they go if wet. Also I've seen some anti slip stuff that seems like it would be hard to sweep/mop and wear the dogs pads.
I'm really stuck with this decision and need help.
Cheers

John
I've worked in the paint industry 20 years and done several kennel floors
If the concrete is bare with no existing coating, use a 2 Part Epoxy. (water Based preferably)
Dries harder than a standard paving paint, and will last 10 times longer. Dog urine will gradually eat through paving paint.
Most Epoxys will withstand battery acid ect.
Epoxys are generally gloss or satin in finish, so add a fine Non Slip additive to the top coat.
Key to what ever option you choose, is the cleaning of the concrete. Using a diluted Hydrochloric Acid & Water mix to ensure adheasion and penetration to concrete.

Hope this helps
