i have a dog that is running 10L behind where he was 6months ago ....the dog bites on as usual in private and in the kennel there is no signs of any difference

the downturn in form is dramatic and we have had the dog checked over and found no injuries, but he clearly isnt stretching out

Does anyone have any ideas ?
suggestions as to who to go to ? a different muscle man?
should we get bloods?

we are sending the dog straight to the paddock for a spell as we dont want to risk his health

the dog is located in warragul area of VIC

Whats happening on the inside is as important as the outside

Every dog should have bloods done before 18 mths old to know where its at
Then again 8 weeks later if adjustments were implemented

For $100 it could save the dog and trainer a mountain of time or pain

Just sitting it in the paddock with ill insides isnt going to change a thing
Problems will resurface once in full work again

Cheers

Craig, a blood test will tell you a lot, but make sure it is done by a good greyhound vet, not a pet vet.
Also, make sure that your trainer gets a copy of the results.
