Hi all just looking some help on what went on Thursday night my brood bitch broke out she went to the farm beside me and started fighting with the farmers jack Russell and the farmer got the fight split up His JACK WAS NOT KILLED then went in to his house and got his shotgun and shot my bitch dead he said it was going for him but the strange thing is the bitch was shot from the back the shot went from her tail up her back as if she was going away from the farmer when ask why he shot it his reply was he was soo cross of my dog going for his dog can anyone me me were I stand thanks

Not sure of the laws over there but Id go to the police. There are a multitude of things that could arise. Cant see you being in to much trouble for an escapee dog but he may have some questions to answer. Cheers

It's an absolute horrible thing to say, but cut your losses and move on as good as you can. You probably don't want a dog that is going to attack other dogs or a neighbor hating you and making your life hell anyway. Put yourself in your neighbours shoes and you'd probably do the same thing in the heat of the moment
