Michael
you asked for advice i dont care whether you freeze it or surgically remove it
liquid nitrogen will kill them
it is used on humans as well
you have already three visits booked plus travelling even at 36 pounds a time you are heading into your second hundred and as anyone who has dealt with vets in UK will know 35 pounds for any treatment is exceptionally low
why should a vet spend 20 years trying to develop a cure when there are several there already
you still dont know if it will work
keep us posted

Check the dogs ancestry and see if it is hereditary. If so all you can do if pare it as it will keep surfacing.

Corn update.
My dad was speaking to Daniel Doherty this morning and Daniel said he has now done 22 corns with his new technique and there has not been any reacurence of corns.
When asked about liquid nitrogen to removed corns he said Bruce Prole tried it in 1991 and gave up with that method as it did not remove the corn entirely and they would come back.
Thomas i am not having a pop or anything else, and i am not an agent for the D Doherty LOL.
What ever method an owner/trainer chooses each to thier own.
Kind regards, Martin.

hi all sorry not been around but have been for harrys treatment. after the 1st treatment went back to get 2nd treatment and not much differance but this i was told at the 1st treatment. well just got in from having 3rd treatment put on and what a differance to my harry. on 1st treat squeezed each pad on paw and harry squilled only on the pad with corn. 2nd treat same 3rd treat squeesed each pad in turn and NO squile. this vet is the best thing since sliced bread. i have to go back next sat just to have bandage of and collect an oil to rub into pad. money well spent. will post next week. i also asked about freezing it and it dont work vet said..

had dressing of his paw today and all is very good, vet pinched all his pads and no problems. i felt his pad and its soft like the others were it was rock hard before and harry didnt like it.i have to put a dab of tincture oil on it twice a day 4 two weeks.so no more going to vets. fingers crossed. i know people gave other treatments for his corn and i was greatful. i picked this way and it has worked and pain free treatment.

Hi all
We took our dog Frank to see Daniel last week. Apparently he's now done over 500 treatments with no recurrence of the corns. After just 1 treatment Frank has started to play again which is great to see. We're off back to Uxbridge again on Friday for the second treatment. It's a 300 mile round trip but it's worth every boring mile or hour in a traffic jam just to see Frank playing in the garden again. Daniel is a really nice bloke and very approachable. He told us of the interest shown by the big pharmaceuticals but apparently he's holding out for a Lamboughini... Apparently dogs are coming from as far away as Ireland for his treatment. I'm sure that wouldn't be happening if there was any doubt about it's effectiveness.
I'll post again when the treatment is complete but so far we're very excited for the future.
