Adam, I'm sorry, but my phone was out of order for 8 days, ( great Telstra service ), and my computer and email function kept cutting in and out. I couldn't get anything to work at all for a few hours yesterday, so as soon as I have some spare time shortly, I will get back to you.

Yes, Ted, I did, but have heaps to answer, so will reply soon. I think I can see why your dog is cramping from what you told me in the email. Most times, the back being out causes nerve pressure to the muscles and they tend to go into spasm, and that may be why he couldn't stretch out. It is a fairly common condition if the back has been out for a while, as it restricts the full extension of the shoulders.

Naa chub. Occasionally get someone else to check them bull knows that sometimes you get too familiar with the dog but bull hardly ever misses any thing you know that. cheers Ted

Hi Ted, was great to catch up with you in Launceston. Have you tried adding a bit of extra fat to his diet, maybe substituting some fatty chicken mince in place of the lean meat or using a kibble with 10-15% fat. Cheers Brian

Ted,check his urine level on a piddle stick, if it reads 6.5 or less,he needs A teaspoon full of bi-carb of soda over his tea for 7 days then cut it back to 1/2 a teaspoon till his reading is 7, this should stop him cramping unless it's a more serious issue. Paddy.P.S. a tea spoon of "Brewers Yeast" will also help. There is something wrong with the balance of your feeding. Regards Paddy,my opinion only.

Try Potassium in his diet ie chopped bananas, a Knob of lard over his food daily, Some tinned tomatoes on his bait couple of days before he races.

HI everybody no longer beleive it is cramp with winklee wonder and nosey think its more like a nerve type of thing got the vet working on it did a full blood analysis the other day but she still not sure what cause it. Very similar action to a horse with springhalt but in the front legs vet has never seen anything like it before. Cheers Ted P.S. I think I must have offended Carole in some way if I did please accept my apologies.
