All Spectra Medics lasers designed for greyhound treatment and specifically the "Winning Edge" laser are Class 3B lasers. See below link...

Jamie ,
Word is Mark day is not involved any more. Can't agree with Dan there are far superior units with far greater power and they operate on the superior 808 nm wave length.

Doug I was made aware by the company mark works/ed for that he is no longer selling lasers.

After a recommendation from a local trainer whom I highly respect, has good dogs gives them a fair chance, I have faith everytime I back a dog of his as I know they're sound so when he suggested jack ogilvies lasers I spoke to jack, he was straight forward with me. So ill now be purchasing one of jacks lasers.

Thanks for the advice and thanks jack

He might not want his name put on a forum so is rather leave that be but he has had group success and usually has some handy runners in his kennels. Always ones worth backing so I definitely shouldn't say the name LOL

He knows who he is and knows I appreciate his advice when given. So ill trust him on this one.

Im jst starting out in greyhounds and cant really afford a laser, if you want to give your dog a massage does it hurt to just use an infrared handheld massager, rather than using your hands?

Daniel, the infrared massage unit does not have the same properties as a laser, but it will be as good as using your hands.
