Simon, if Ray heard what I did then he's very much justified by his statement. If it's true then I feel sorry for anybody that used him.
I think you can work it out!

Don't feel sorry for me Gordon mine are 12 months old and absolutely hum along. Most have been able to keep up with my 30secs meadows bitch free galloping since they were 9 mnths old.Fierce competitors galloping against one another and anything they grab onto.Ive suspected he ran on the edgar allan as well but reliable sources tell me he was breaking 300m track records out west well before he raced and it would seem silly too soup him up for that.If the rumour is that he was a fighter than that goes with that lines territory.Wont stop him either way from what ive seen of his pups.
They would have sold him too China if they weren't confident in what they had.Time will tell.

Thanks Gordon.I appreciate people coming on and relaying concerns but without actual facts and the accusation its a bit of a witch hunt.I remember talking to Harry sarkis one day about knocka Norris and he said he wouldn't touch him with a 40 foot pole and I regret now listening too him.He was a great sire wasted thru negativity.

There's no witch hunt in the slightest, let's just see how this plays out.

I'm just justifying Ray's comment and haven't stated anything as fact. Enough said, I'll wait and see if the hearsay stays hearsay.

But whats the hearsay? At least give a hint because the way you and Ray are talking its a dog duplication because anything else unfortunately wont be career ending that's just the way greyhounds are now days.Nothing fazes.

If you pull a fast one you bury the evidence by selling him to China.By keeping him and knocking back big offers and continuing to keep this dog under these repressed breeding conditions is enough proof for me.

We have invested our time, effort and not to mention quit a lot of money in getting our Shaokey kids to 9 months. There is an old saying, 'If you can't say somethng nice about someone or in this case, dog, then don't say anything. Our bitch is DNA tested and if there is any concern, her puppies will be DNA tested as well. I presume Shakey has also been tested so with a full test with quite a few markers, proof could be found instantly. If your insinuations are correct I am guessing that a class action would be formed by those who have used the dog, against the owner, etc. I like our puppies, though no expert on greyhounds, and if Shakey's kids do turn out well, who has the last laugh??? I can not see how someone knocks back a lot of money for a dog, then puts in a ring in. It's Shakey Jakey, not Fine Cotton.

The dog is not sold and is going no where, in 12-18mths time we will all know whether he is successful or not.

We are hearing positive things from his first few litters but there is a long way to go yet

The dog that served my bitch is definetly Shakey and he stamps his progeny with his looks so no probs there,as for anything synthetic than that puts out a ton of stud dogs in the last decade.Make no mistake about that..
