I remember Tenthill Doll being the first dog to ever break 30 seconds at WPK. I think she went 29.98, she was a incredible greyhound. Now this dog runs 29.07!!!!!!
Can someone explain how that works???
Im sorry but this pup is not 12 lengths faster than Tenthill Doll
Somethings not right
Saturday Nite Easter Egg Heats the average time was around 29.86 with the quickest being 29.45 by a pretty smart dog in Keybow his 1st 2 sections were 5.45 and 17.67 with a run home of 11.78 Sunday the quickest time was 29.07 run by Shakey Jakey who is a pup on par with or better than Brett Lee now this pup ran 5.47 with an early of 17.74 and a Final run home in 11.33 Just looking at those stats alone we have 2 meetings 24 hours apart Some of the best dogs in the Country raced Saturday Sunday all Maidens Average Sat = 29.86 Average Sun = 30.01 At the run home Mark there was 7/100ths between them or a Lgth going to Keybow At the post Shakey Jakey would have been at least 6.5 Lgths in front of Keybow An Average Sat nite track runs around the 29.9 An Average Frid Nite around 30.2 Working on fastest and slowest divided x 2 Sat nite =29.74 Sun nite =29.79 And Ray that's how you work it out ...On overall times Keybow was 3 lgths on the line behind Shakey Jakey ...on Sectional times Keybow ran 7/100ths to the mark down the back on the run home the section is 6.5 lgths quicker than Keybow to Skakey Jakey And Ray that's how you work it out

If you think about it your best chance of running real fast time is by slicing chunks of your run home. His first two sections are good but that run home time is quite extraordinary .A 15.33 on the old clock i remember top stayers over the 500 would only come home in the late 70's.

changing tracks or not, genetically you can't run those times unless you are an exceptional animal.
I wish that greyhound nsw did urine and a blood sample to also put any innuendo of something enhancing the dogs ability other than ability etc. to rest also and made the results public very swiftly.
really when you look at it while its exciting to have these quick young dogs come through I agree with Shane, to see him do this against hardened group class dogs and free for all week in week out over a 50+ race career would help determine all elements of his ability (toughness, hard chase, resilience when races do not go his way etc.) multiple track records seem a given and i hope the dog remains sound for connections.
Id have to say that Master shot who was only .03 off shakey jakeys unofficial track record at bathurst is far more attractive to me as a breeding prospect prospect blood lines wise, yet quick dogs or not they have to produce on the track and on through their offspring. there is sure to be another Brett lee eventuate sooner or later and im sure at that time Brett lee had people astounded at his ability.
good luck in the final.

I think it's fair to say people were shocked on course at the time. The middle section was humming but the run home was phenomenal. It would be great to see him keep racing

Lets hope for connections and greyhound racing that he remains sound and healthy and goes on with it...we need another Superstar..perhaps another Brett Lee if he goes on with it???
My pups by Collision are three weeks old and I've sold them all bar one. $5500 is only double of what some other sires are priced but he's 10x the sire.

Spring Gun is already proven although it was only a performance trial it Did better the track record. CLICK HERE A combination of 2 dominant damlines you would be hopeful of producing something that could break track records.
