He also got a winner at Shep ..out of a bitch that's thrown five winners in previous two litters..mine slipped 10.50 at Abernathy circle the other day first look they say under 11 is a good run.

You wouldn't be expecting too many to win over 400m, eh James?
That's why I thought the Taree pup went well.

Interesting theory you have James
The Taree pup was linebred heavily to GWT, Awesome Assassin and Malawi's Prince as well as the mum inbred to Brett Lee, you would expect a pacier type with that blue print

Well that's it Cairns, Taree, Abernathy trial track and Shep! Shakey is really cranking them out now. Maybe Dukes will follow Rapid Journey who also won his maiden at Taree in a very similar maiden series.

That seems to be the story.....so far Ross
There would be those who have puppies at home that are going ok that don't blow their trumpet until they hit the tracks
His oldest are barely 21 months and if they are anything like him and his litter mates I don't see them as jump and run types 300-400m types, more like 450m+

U still have to break them in Ross before racing...most of his pups are breaking now no time to conclude anything.I always let dogs mature so break them in a little later.

That's only .05 outside the track record, if the figures on this site are correct.

My experience is a bit like bombastic shiraz pups..Break them in turn them out and give them a prep.I finished mine off out of the puppy boxes at maitland and a few ran 15.30 second and last time .I noticed 15.1 secs is what would be expected of a city class 500m chaser so I was happy with that.Ive turned my males out for the laurie hellion. Some pups train on straight after break in but im not getting that feeling with the shakeys he didn't race till two so that might give you a hint they need time to mature.Dont believe he will throw on his amazing strength they strike me as real speed types once they age sufficiently.
