One of my girls has gone missing in the Glengoole, New Birmingham, Ballysloe area of Tipperary. She is a blue bitch ear marks KJZML. Her Pet name is Cassie. She last raced last September in Kilkenny but came off injured and was treated by Pat Dunne and has been kept with me as a pet ever since. If anyone has any information please ring me on 0861208786 or e-mail [email protected]
Sorry to say that there has been no news or sign of Cassie. I have put up a 200 reward for her safe return in the hope that it might be in some ones interest to return her if they are keeping her. As I said in my original posting she had an injury so would not be any use for racing and obviously without her papers she would not be any use for breeding. I find it hard to believe that she has vanished into thin air and hope that a reward might bring some news.
Sorry to say there hasn't been the slightest response to my searches and advertisments or reward offered. I just hope that who ever has got her is kind to her but of course I still hope that she might turn up somewhere.
I don't know Yvonne. As I said in my posting she has been living in the house as a pet since last September and has the freedom of the fields around my place and so I only noticed she was missing when she wasn't there for her dinner. She would usually be sleeping in the sun or playing with the other pets as I don't have any neighbours within half a mile. I have of course searched far and wide over all the adjacent fields and woods and had all my neighbours out looking as well. She is a very quiet and placid dog who knows her name and usually soon comes when called. She is a lovely pet.
And you might have best chances to get her spread amongst animal welfare groups if you find a reputable rescue near by to put it up on their fb page. Find a bundle of useful addresses here: EXTERNAL LINK
Greyhounds should not be out there without being protected :-) Fingers crossed!
