EXTERNAL LINK gricg ask stakeholders to put in submissions to give to GRNSW, Who are the stakeholders ?, hope they don't mean participants. So maybe that's how the represented numbers are so high ." Forced inclusion ".

Slight exageration James. According to 2011 census 25% of AUS population are Catholic and 38% Protestant.

When asking for a meeting to be put together at PP it was for the purpose of all these leaders to sit down and put things right for the participants, since the meeting all i have got out of the few i have spoken to so far is we are waiting on joe blow to do this or that with to many dead ends in my opinion, from what i gather if someone says the wrong thing they are threatened with legal action to keep things quiet, this should not go on,it should be an open book for all to know and see BUT IT ISNT.The only way WE as participants here in NSW to go forward and achieve what we want and deserve is to UNITE and speak up.No good relying on these so called leaders groups as to date what have they done for any of us ? Its about time people come out of the dark and speak up.

The information we all received on the day that the GBOTA were ask not to attend, which complicated the exercise with one GBOTA director signing the attendance sheet as GBOTA Vice Chair and other three signed the sheet as visitors as did the harness CEO which a lot of Industry Leaders were uncomfortable with. What are these people frighten of ,I will tell you ,ITS THE TRUTH which some times hurt !

Seems there must be much to-ing and fro-ing as the release date has been changed again from the August date.

EXTERNAL LINK
"Greyhound racing in NSW (Inquiry)
This inquiry is a current Legislative Council inquiry conducted by the Greyhound racing in NSW Committee. This Inquiry was established to inquire into and report on greyhound racing in New South Wales.
The Committee tabled its First Report on 28 March 2014, and will soon table its Second Report by 17 October 2014."

Gov tax takeout to decrease, stir up in management, more control of expenses, changes all take time. Santa clause is coming.

This is all I have received regarding the outcome of the meeting at Potts Park. Nothing to get excited about IMO, I am very disappointed, these are the people that were asked to represent us. Will it go any further? Participants please form your own opinion.

James

I think that striking at this stage is a bit extreme, but it may have to happen in the near future, what we need here is UNITY and a body of people to take our concerns to GRNSW and for them to listen, there are plenty of people running these certain groups and all it should take to get them moving is for all concerned participants to pick up a phone and make themselves heard,at the moment IMO we dont have strong enough representation by individual groups that is why i would like to see them combine as one.It has to HAPPEN and very soon.
