Please vote for 'these new plans' if you would like to see Wimbledon Stadium developed into a world class greyhound stadium.

Winning this vote would be another morale booster for retaining greyhound racing at Wimbledon and it would send a strong message to the council that the support of the public is in favour of greyhound racing at Wimbledon.

We currently need to pick up some votes as we are behind 32% to 66%. You can vote once from each computer you have.

(Note: you will be able to vote more than once but only 1 vote will count per computer)

Well done Lynda.

I was about to post this when I noticed you beat me to it.

It has been a great response so far from the greyhound world as when I was first made aware of the poll around 2 hours ago Paschal's new plans were behind 15% to 84%

Please keep up the good work everyone - it only takes a few seconds to vote via the link on Lynda's opening post.

Who's the heads up for Chris?

Do you not want greyhound racing to continue at Wimbledon?

Just one of the comments posted on the Wimbledon Guardian website by people opposed to the building of a new greyhound stadium (and greyhound racing in general) which shows that articles on this site are constantly monitored by all sorts of people.I don't think that there have been many votes because just a few from greyhound stadium supporters has already altered the voting fairly significantly.

This comment was raised last time they had a vote in the Wimbledon Guardian. However, the new Wimbledon will be a world class stadium attracting visitiors from all over the world so it could be argued that those visitors should be able to voice their opinions as to what would attract them to London. This Forum is simply creating awareness of the poll and its up to those voting to chose their favoured option.
