29.42 in the semi finals of the Derby. Low flying. He'll be hard to beat in the final.

Wonderful great dog has pace to burn and stays !.
Trainer Dailly has many top class dogs and a lot of winners in her kennel and deserved much praise.

The dogs run last night in the egg was just about perfection

The only Easter Egg final winner I would rate better is Rapid Journey

So true Ray
It will be great to see the next group of dogs from American sires come out of the Wheeler Kennels .

I think so far PAW has used 5 or 6 different USA bred sires over his bitches in recent times .

So much for inbreeding when you can get dogs the calibre of Fernando Bale from out crossing to YANK blood

Exactly Kevin

I believe we are all still learning how the USA blood is infusing itself in our breed and Kelso's Fusileer is providing a lot of clues as to what we need to get that balance of speed and strength from their breeds

The link to the Irish bloodlines and how all three can be combined to produce stronger and tougher dogs is not to be underestimated

Up to now we have had Flying Penske who has been a great progenitor of strength but not early pace and Kiowa Sweet Trey who has been reasonably successful via grandson Glen Gallon and starting to become prolific as a damsire and in damlines i.e. Space Star, Jayney Bale, Shifty Sticka etc

We have had a few litters of Hondo Black who is mainly a strength sire from what we see in the UK and has left a speed machine like Hooksy

Then there is your sire Paddy Whacker who is bringing back a branch of the Ginger sire line but chockfull of Irish/US blood

It will be interesting to see what he brings to the table.

Will he have a Sonic Flight type of influence or will he through to the speed of Gable Dodge and Molotov via his damline?

Your other sire Blazin Wildfire has had great success from a few litter sin the USA producing a number of AA class dogs. He could indeed be another branch of Brett Lee's line that could be exploited

We had Gable La Fourche before that who was mainly a speed sire.

He was a son of Gable Dodge as is Kelso's Fusileer.

KC and All is also a son of Gable Dodge who seems to leave speed dogs in the US and going forward could be a real find for Australian breeders, being inbred to Dutch Bahama as well

You must no have seen Radley Bale race was won a split second once boxes open. It was like his box opened 1 sec before the others.

Yes I was there for that race as well when he won from box 7 and you are right it was another near perfectly run race that Radley Bale put in that night

The 1994 win by Australian Cup hero Mancunian Girl was also a standout performance. She came out of box one and just blew them all away

So many great performances over the years in the great race. If there is ever a $1.000.000 to the winner race the Golden Easter Egg is a worthy race

Talking of U.S. influence - it will be interesting to see if Destini Fireball will add something to our bitch's from his dam line.

I seriously, seriously doubt he will be given the chance in respect to numbers and quality broods

Fernando Bale has it all before him and he's bred to go to stud here in Australia no doubt at all there!! What are Ppl's thoughts to him going to my bitch.. Fernando Bale x Sandy's Girl (Brett Lee x Eco Eden) Eco Eden(Pure Octane x Al Fresco) is Mantra Lads litter sister... She's just had her 2nd litter to Bit Chili n barring injury by time I'm ready for her next litter he may well be close to standing at stud...
